Gonna go out on a whim and say that Zera is Zeref and Mavis's daughter.

I mean, look at that last page, the resemblance is uncanny.

Read Fairy Tail Zero man.

Already read it, I'm just suspecting that things aren't as they seem with her, given what we were already told in Zero.

I don't mind gajeel but like god damn it, if he dies then just let him die and stop with the fucking asspulls! Does Mashima really think that every character (thats not a worthless background character) should survive when fighting against the so called "strongest wizards". Well of course everyone will because fucking mashima. There is literally no tension at all.

Honestly fairy tail has fallen so far it might be beyond redemption. In my eyes, the only way this series can maybe be redeemed is if the ending is amazing. As of now, this is just absolutely fucking dumb.

Now if you all stop over analyzing the story and characters and all that and instead of hating the elements that actually making it deserve reading like comedy moments and fanservice and stupid pointless action and actually read it for those then you might just have fun reading a Fairy Tail chapter every week instead of frustration.

You forgett that there is a moral to be told with this story.

Other Shounen manga make their moral hard work, or friendship, some make it love although I´ve nevr encountered one that wrote that well.

Point being through Hiro Mashima´s inconsistensies even the morals he tries to convey get dilluted. Let´s assume the solution to evrything in this manga is love.

What qualifies ones love to be greater than someone elses? It´s downright insulting to the characters he has created. Literally saying into their faces, the MC´s love towards anything is greater than the love every other entity feels, although we´ve seen several instances of compassion through other characters.

Don´t get me wrong, I know that the MC is being made succesful were other seemingly more powerful characters fail, but using the figurative concept of love for that is just insulting to everyone who ever felt this feeling and I do not mean romantic love, but in general.

The telling of morals is something Fairy Tales succed in, if the author fails to convey  even this properly, he is justifiably considered bad and people may get angry when they see their morals getting raped. Not saying that most of the moaning and bitching in this threads is justified, because people should know by now that the best they can hope for is some decent teenage romance.

Yep, that's one of my points I tried to make when I mentioned Mard, thanks for properly presenting it :)

One of the main morals of the series is feels and love.

But Hiro respects these aspects only for Natsu, Lucy and Erza. What happened to the feelings of:

Future Rouge (lost everything he cared for, became ready to sacrifice anything to stop Acnologia),

Mard Geer (the guy legit didn't want anything to do with humans, just wanted to revive his friend/mentor and kill Zeref; went against fairy tail cause they blocked his ways), then his emotions for shitted on this arc (465) ; simultaneously making entire Tartarus arc pointless.

Lissana, got her partner stolen by someone  who came to his life just 1 month back, while she alone supported and gave encouragement to Natsu for years till they were 16 when every other member of the guild mocked and belittled him; and even developed mutual rromantic  feelings with each other. Natsu didn't even have feelings for Lucy, the entire thing appears forced AF now.

Kyouka's and Sayla's loyalty to Zeref and each other. Erza won because she's erza and her feelings were stronger? BS, kyouka's feelings were definitely stronger there.

There are multiple other instances where the morals for his series are contradicted cause they don't matter to sidecharacters (Jacob saving Brandish and Marin, cobra getting cheap shotted by Erza for Kinana etc)

Naruto follows similar morals too, but the difference is kishi tries to respect other character's morals too: pain's feels, madara's feels, obito's feels (LOL) etc

Weird things are happening but if Gajeel can come back I'm happy with it.

I honestly liked this chapter,

We finally get to see the reunion of Zeref and Mavis,

The outcome of August huge attack(although Natsu was able to tank it due for being heat-type)

Weird, I wonder what that snake with Gray really means, it can't be just a random animal going around since it even got it's own panel, maybe Cobra's new companion?

August with no clothes showing his muscular body AND that just made me think about how much he resembles Asura, and not only that, Asura's mentor's name is Augus(it more than enough to see what Mashima did here) and that just made me even more hyped about August.

I wonder what Irene's going to do with Hisui and Arcadio, not like they stand a chance against her.

Have a feeling that Gajeel is still dead and that's how he can talk/see Zera who is also dead, if he's not dead, then I want to see Braddman there too.

and now what exatcly Zera meant by saying "One of the Fairies of Origin".

Also I want to see what happened with Rahkeid and Dimaria, so a lot of things I'm still looking foward to see.

Did u noticed.....ZERA, ZEREF = TWINS (and UR??)

Zeraf, Natsu= bros, => Zera Natsu = brother and sister,

Zera= origin, Natsu = E.N.D.

This makes as much sense as Zera being Zerefs and Mavis lovechild because Zeref lived 300 years earlier than Mavis or Zera whose Dad at least we got to see.

What´s more intriguing is the fact that Zeira grew as a ghost.

She died as a 6 year old, Mavis created a teenage illusion of her and now she´s even older as a ghost. Ironically resembling an older version of the illusion Mavis created.

He was dead for 1 chapter, i don't even know if it was 1 chapter ... There is something like 0% that he wouln't be revived, but this is really next level.

Wanted to write for quite some time about how with the popularity of the series author decides to make a spin-off series whether for some characters on demand or some cash if i can say so. I think it's fine if it doesn't affect the main series which in this particular case i see as one of the main problem. I read FT: zero and it was pretty good (i think it might can be considered as part of main story), but for the others ones i just do not care. It's obviously not only this manga, but i think it's not the case and it's FT discussion =/

Oh and there was some oneshot couple days ago (i closed it cause i now really hate fanservice in this series), which instigated me to write paragraph above.
