This is quite shaky; I don't see how time travel makes you lose time. Assuming this is simple time travel, they were "detached" from the flow of time, jumping from one point (era) to X777. It is quite different with the body preservation or, by your example, the Tenrou Island incident, in which Natsu (and Tenrou team) "remained" in the flow of time.



Or the answer to this question may lie on what are the exact, specific conditions of Freed's Runes. Although:

Well, since Natsu is the only etherious with a body of his own I guess that if Zeref dies Natsu will only end up near-death or something.



I wish Zeref could be turned around to face off either Acnologia or Ankhseram.

it was too early for zerefs death we all knew he wouldn't die and frankly im glad, now that the final piece of igneels spirit has disappeared from natsu maybe he can finally start becoming a dragon like acnologia, also dragon slayers who become dragons live a suuuuuper long time apparently.





a lot of my predictions finally came true, that the reason that gajeel and natsu couldn't go through frieds rune that didnt let anyone over 80 years old out was because they were both sent from the past. didn't think about wendy and the others being sent as well but it made sense.



Also was right about natsu being E.N.D. before they revealed it, and the reason igneel couldnt beat E.N.D. was because he cared about natsu not because he was too weak.



Zerefs super dumb though if he really wanted to die he woulda kept his trap shut about all of it

something i did find interesting was how apparently eclipse isn't something that can be used with only 1 person, from the sounds of it anna opened the gate and because layla also opened the gate on the fated 7/7/777 date that is where they arrived.



This also adds to my prediction that lucy existed at some point in the past most likely as anna, maybe not something as simple as time travel but instead reincarnation, but for all we know anna could've went through the door as well and met layla and layla made her her daughter even though she looks old in the pic we saw. but regardless the reason i've always thought lucy had a definite connection to the past is because the occasions where lucy met the celestial spirit king i.e. when loki was disappearing and when she summoned him by breaking aquarius' key he always called her "old friend" even when it was supposed to be their first meeting, initially most thought that he was talking about loki when that happened but if you pay attention its clearer hes referring to lucy.



wonder when aquarius will be reformed because theres clearly a method. we now know of 3 people who could summon the spirit king anna layla and lucy. since we know theres only 12 zodiacs and highly doubt lucy was the first to summon him at some point one of the keys had to be reforged and such will happen with aquarius eventually.



i'm more interested in how the other dragon slayers take this news.

Actually the panel where it shows Anna she remembered me of Hisui, maybe Anna is Hisui's mother, also the fact that Hisui is also the one behind the current eclipse gate makes this even more intriguing.



While we still have yet to see Anna, looking from the back, they both seem similar, only Anna having longer hair.
