I have quite a mixed feeling about Happy's action , but it is a great chapter ,with a lot of information..

Here's hoping Natsu gets a badass cheek scar given how savage that wound on his face was this chapter

No, it´s a Hiro Mashima Shounen they´ll bend the rules somehow and find a way to safe him even if it´s the power of love.



Literally the same story was used in Fire emblem awakening and people (including me) were ok with it, you don´t want your hero you went so much through with to die at the very end.

This was such an intense chapter, tbh I'm really glad that Happy took Natsu away, because if Zeref had died..(taking Natsu with him) then there wouldn't be much more of the story left. If there was no Zeref and no Natsu, pretty much Fairy Tail would be at the end (END haha) so it's pretty important Mashima made that happen. And also because Zeref is such a cutie.

Like the rest of you, I'm really curious about Anna too. Why aren't we allowed to see her face? And is it a coincidence thats she's also a Beatles song? She has to have some sort of a relation with the Heartfilias.

Also, am I the only one who really wants Zeref and Mavis to end up together in the end teehee (I ship it so much)

The nezt chapter is called Assassin..I can't wait for it...it sounds like something dramatic may just happen.

This is like.. the best chapter of Fairy Tail I ever read story-wise. I actually can't believe they pieced everything so well together, and the small foreshadowing that actually lead to this.



Really? You give the series very little credit then, the trolling actually started around GMG before that it had those intrigueing chapters and less fluff put in there to appease the perverts who don´t know what porn is.

Woulda made more sense if the ending was tied to your supports, though.  I mean c'mon, the one game where you can support as much as you want and they don't let it tie into the story despite the narrative basically saying it should?

Not sure if I understand Anna and Layla's part, though.  So Anna opens the gate and sends them in, but they only come out when Layla opens in in 777?  Then who put the 10,000 dragons in it so they came out after the GMG, or was that altered because of the moon making it so the dragons didn't have to be put in?



the 10k dragons thing has nothing to do with the dragon slayers thing. They are two separate events

Now that I think about it, to open the Gate, Layla would've needed all twelve keys, but when she retired she distributed 3 of them...

Anna had to have open the gate.



When Lucy was born, Zoledo used Human Subordination magic on Capricorn's key. They were joined for 17 years until Zoledo died on Tenrou. That means those 17 years nobody could use the eclipse gate. So Anna must have opened it all by herself.



When they said a higher concentration of etherion, that would have been when Mystogan sent all his world's magic into this world.



So either the gate was suppose to open up after fairy tail went to Edolas and Layla opened it for some reason early OR Layla was the one destined to open it. Or Lucy was suppose to and Layla did it herself so it would not kill Lucy.



But Layla opened the gate yet Markarov brought Natsu to the guild. This means Markarov and Layla must have been in contact together at some point. Smell conspiracy

i am amazed at the fact that lucy's mom had a part in this whole eclipse thing .

Kinda expected this, that when Natsu kills Zeref, Natsu will die too, although I did not expect that the other dragon slayers are also from the past.




As for Natsu dying.... meh Hiro Mashima is a fan of happy endings. Just look at Rave. He can definitely pull it off with Natsu dying and then revived by the power of friendship.




I am not gonna read rave until fairy tail is over but everyone keeps saying thats its gonna follow rave's story pattern, why would he repeat the same story, that mean juvia will die
