So, if Zeref dies, Natsu dies? Either we'll have a tragic end, or some ass-pull to save his life? I love FT, but I will admit, it does have a lot of ass-pulls (especially pertaining to Natsu, Erza, and Lucy).



Well, I can't wait to see how this affects Natsu, in the long run, knowing the infamous "Black Mage/Dark Wizard/Black Wizard" is his long-lost brother, and that he is really the demon that Gray wants to kill.



I'm hoping that Natsu receives a cool scar from that cheek-blow, but I'm pretty sure Wendy will fucking heal it, reversing any character model updates, like before (short-haired Wendy, long-haired Natsu).



Maybe we'll see Zeref team up with FT, in an attempt to take Acnologia down, in the future? I hope so~



Now that I think about it, wasn't Zeref's underling within earshot, just like Happy? Maybe he heard it too, and knows the truth.



Well, at any rate I can't wait for 466~



I wouldn't give up on the scar just yet. I mean he got a scar from Future Rogue stabbing him through the side and the wound on the cheek definitely looks around that level of severity.

I don't want this to happen. A bunch of teenagers defeating god with the power of friendship is a bit too much. If they do fight the death god, I hope they outsmart him in some way and so he allows Natsu to live but considering the fact that this is fairy tail that will never happen.

At last this chapter has explained it! In a earlier discussion I was having an issues with Natsu being 400 years old. Something I called a time inconsistency.



I initially said I found it strange that if Igneel couldn't kill END 400 years ago that meant Natsu would've live that long and 400 years of caring and training would've made him way stronger or OP than most characters (like Laxus and Makarov). Then there was also how I thought it was strange that if Igneel did raise Natsu for 400 years, why did Natsu only start growing up after Igneel "left" him. Why did he start growing up normally after joining Fairy Tail? He couldn't have stayed a kid for 400 years while under Igneel's care.



This chapter has really connected all the pieces together! Thank you! This is what I was looking for!

Either Anna is the ancestor of Layla/Lucy or either Hisui with the connection to the Eclipse gate... but if the hair is white, then ancestor of Solano/Yukino is possible too.



Kinda expected this, that when Natsu kills Zeref, Natsu will die too, although I did not expect that the other dragon slayers are also from the past.




As for Natsu dying.... meh Hiro Mashima is a fan of happy endings. Just look at Rave. He can definitely pull it off with Natsu dying and then revived by the power of friendship.
