Wow poor Zeref--

Finally finds someone that understands his pain and could share everything after being lonely for ****ing hundreds of years and then the person dies in his hands because he loved her....



Gives me the weird feeling of that Natsu dying the same way as Mavis at the end.. (since love is the one Magic or whatever Lucy's mom said)



Really liked the story and Hiro did a great job. Really bad that the ship didn't last long!

If Hiro doesn´t pull something new I get it, there´s a principle behind the curse.



1. You try to defy nature (the gods).

2 The gods curse you by killing whatever you love.

3. In order to not kill what you love you must hate it (humans are unable to no feel).

If you lie to yourself the curse knows it, therefore your feelings must be true to work.

4.Because you hate life to preserve it, you hate yourself and don´t want to preserve it because you hate it (you become a demon).

5.Because you hate life, life hates you and you start hating life for hating you.



6. The solution: In order to break the circle someone you hate must start loving you. You´re not supposted to love that person, because if you´d do he´d die.

Jokes aside, Natsu won´t be the one to kill Zeref.

It´s gonna be Lucy. Lucy is the character that´s the most asociated with love.

Her love for any form of life will purify Zeref and unite him with Mavis.



Prediction: Everyone will die, but Lucy will bring them back with her power of love.. I think juvia has a shot. The only thing her character does is love gray with every ounce of her being. Her speech about in tortures lean towards her understanding  the one true magic. Mabry it will be Lucy and juvia



I couldn't agree more, I actually believe that Juvia has an equal chance at this like Lucy, since she loves Gray and the guild so much. Both of them have a family they cherish (the guild) and their loved one (Gray and Natsu) that they want to protect. I hope that Hiro won't pull a Rave Master on Juvia, I actually want my Gruvia ship intact!



Juvia is no main character, so forgett it.



I can asure you Juvia won´t get Reina´d Hiro already commented on that, but nonetheless Lucy is Ellie.



No way in Hell will Hiro at the end pull a troll and say y all the Lucy buildup FU I´m gonna make Juiva the heroine.



Anyway if it makes you happy we will see Fairy Tail children 200%.

One will be Gruvia´s lovechild don´t worry.



Remember how Mira thought about Elfman and Evers child. Well the joke will be that the child will be really beautiful and kawai.

Zeref is an interesting character, so he really doesn't want to kill but is forced too which shapes him to become a person who casts aside his emotions which in turns changes him mentality to have some split personality but Mavis showed him love which in turn made him feel all the emotion at this point and then when he thinks he found something, someone he could hold dear the curse takes it away from him - that would fuck anyone one up to the point of not just wanting to die but to want to take out the world along with him because of all the heart ache he has suffered.

So Zeref killed Mavis.



Or did she die?



Because she has not named Phret as master. And she has not yet gone to tenrou island or made fairy heart.



My little Zervis heart just got crushed. Ugh! Romeo and Juliet. Hoping for a happy ending for these to but at the same time, Fairy tail is sooo much better when it goes dark. Hiro's best work is his dramatic, almost horror, feel moments.



Maybe Zeref will bring her back as an etheranos? Or maybe she's just sleeping like sleeping beauty... sort of the reverse of a kiss that awakens you.... a kiss that puts you in a sleeping death.



Mavis's eyes were cool when she realized she killed Rita. Her eyes were like Zerefs eyes when he is in the dark stage. And then she was in her crazy drug addict stage like he normally is.



I want to know more about this one magic. Because while this showed the connection between love and the contradiction curse... It really did not explain the origins of magic or how magic evolved into both curses and regular magic.



I was thinking the one magic was a route to save them... as being the strongest aspect of love but now its shown that love is not stronger than the curse because the more you love, the more the curse steals life. It will be interesting to see how Hiro works this new stage of fairy tail or reverts it back to the same old, same ole storyline after this.

END vs Lucy is surely hype and nalu lovers are going to freaking love how that one turns out.

Holy hell that's fucked up. First Mavis kills Rita indirectly then starves herself for 6 months looking like she hasn't touched a bath since whenever. Wants to be killed but can't. Immortality has always been overrated. I can't believe people actually want to live forever. I'd give someone ten years tops till they break



Zervis hopscotched from crack(still don't see how this was crack.. In the beginning it was shown there was a connection between them) to full blown canon



In contrast to what Lucy says. Love brings death as it breaks the curse leading to Zeref killing Mavis. Fairy Heart is somehow Zeref trying to preserve her body it seems. But I don't know because NO ONE knows what the hell Fairy Heart does anyway!



Great chapter. This is literally what you would expect from Rave Master in terms of characters being royally fucked over(Sieghart and Shuda for sure)

I thought when Mavis just lost all hope, she looked like a drug addict. Anyway Zeref x Mavis happened for real, I don't believe it. So I don't get the end of the chapters, did Zeref cause Mavis to be frozen and become Fairy Heart, did his love create Fairy Heart? And why does part of him hate his brother, he wants to kill him? Zeref is a weird person, but all that time can drive you insane. Maybe Mavis being sealed saved her from going insane like Zeref.



A good chapter, I don't know if we are done with the flashback yet. Next chapter titled Fairy Heart we will finally learn the secret.







heres what i've gathered. So since mavis actually died, i was under the impression she was still living and lumen histoire was her answer to the curse, allowing her to live but not be alive so her curse wouldn't hurt people. but Since zeref actually killed her before this happened, zeref is clearly the one who created lumen histoire then, probably as a method to preserve any remaining life force she had.



Despite the fact that zeref lost one of the people he cared for the most this should've been a gigantic revolution towards his cause, to know that those with the curse are still capable of dying.



So why does he want mavis in lumen histoire? Probably to bring mavis back to life maybe through r-system maybe through other means but to bring her back in hopes that her curse will kill zeref.



As far as why mavis was killed instead of zeref dying to mavis's curse the answer is brutal and simple. i guess mavis didn't like zeref as much as zeref liked her.



LMAO that last bit doe. Anyway one of my dumb not backed-up theories was that Lumen Histoire was basically some kind of power that Mavis can use but now after reading this chapter wat da fak. and Fairy Heart..



I find it hard to believe that Zeref is gonna lumen hsitorie to end his curse. At this point he is relying on Natsu to do that. It is more likely that he wants to use Lumen histories as a weapon against Acnologia since he isn't a dragon slayer and gramps at one point was gonna use it as weapon. Though it is possible he will revive her I find it hard to believe that he will believe in his hoe (not saying Mavis is a hoe but u will see why I said that in a sec) more to end his curse than his bro (now u know. Cuz it rhymes)
