It's simple, the others don't play into it at all. Natsu had his body preserved for about 400 years and was revived unlike others who were randomly adopted, perhaps.

Supposing that Acnologia and Natsu are both disciples from Igneel,this creates an interesting contrast and resemblance between Natsu and Gray.



Both of them use opposing magic,both of them have a similar attitude.



Both of them had a fellow apprentice  that went astray(read my supposition),however Natsu didn't train together with Acnologia while Gray and Lyon studied together.



Gray's father was reanimated,while Natsu was "resurrected" by his brother.



Gray is a etherious hunter,Natsu is an etherious.

Meh and this entire time noone in the whole wide world knew that Zeref's the horror of all life surname is "Dragneel"? Or did they all conveniently forgot in order not to give a clue to this twist?



Whatever the case it's truly a big twist, and Acnologia is beast indeed!

HOLY SHIT. THIS CHAPTER I.... WHAT THE FUCK

While I like Zeref's history (felt quite deep), I think it was too short (like less than one chapter). I was kinda hoping there would be more than just one chapter on Zeref's history (considering how major a character he is), but I'm probably thinking to much like One piece.



Then again, I think the author could've done more than just one chapter. He's done character's history series with more than one chapter (Erza and Gray being examples).  To have such a character like Zeref have his entire history explained in less than one chapter feels kinda undermined (less significant) to his character when comparing to other character's history arcs.
