marsh can be formed with it and you´ve got A,N,K,E left.
Anke marsh or Enka marsch, which don´t make sense. except it´s again some short like E.N.D.
Maybe I´m overthinking this, but since Zeref is portrayed as a "tragic" villain, there´s more to it, the evil comes from somewehre.
Keep in mind. Jellal<Ul<Hades<Zeref<sad backstory.<Anksheram.
Don´t forgett the key to everything in Fairy tail is "love". Actaully all the friendship powerups are justified because love is the source of magic afterall.

Second:You base yourself on what the manga says. The manga clearly explained that Natsu was created based on Zeref's dead brother. That eliminates the possibility that Acnologia and him are two parts of a whole or something of the sort. A pity,I really liked this theory.
Natsu being created by Zeref doesn't elimante this possibility. Think for a while, how etherious is created ? We don't know the process it might require transfering some dead souls into the body. It might cause side effects such as becoming ying and yang part of the demonic soul, which might be split. My theory is relevant until Hiro will prove me otherwise.
Second thing is that, Zeref last name is Dragoneel. Igneel also was Dragoneel. Don't you see coincidance? Igneel is also family of Zeref unless he lied about his last name.

Interesting. You know, if I had not read the mangastream version I would probably agree with you, but now I think I will remain by my previous statement. Though, I still think what you said might happen because it makes sense.
There is something fishy with that, I googled if someone had solved it anyway, found this.
