WTF did I just read? That was great! Why did the other dragons stop the dragon transformation of their children when it seems like the DS are able to control that form? What do you think will happen now?

Well,what I find it intriguing is that this mirrors Zeref's declaration of war to Mavis. In a way,this puts Mavis and Acnologia as equal adversaries to Zeref. I wonder what happened in fairy tail zero to make Zeref respect her so much. It certainly isn't just because she was kind to him. Maybe it's related to Lumen historie.



So,in the end,fairy tail is a battleground to the battle of gambles between Igneel,Mavis,Zeref and Acnologia. Igneel already left the stage,so I wonder who is going to be next.



Plus,the fact that he mentioned the "days you spent with igneel" and "How he met Mavis" when talking to the book.



I imagine we are going to get other memoir chapters later on.

No there is no time inconsistency because Hiro has already pulled something like this.

Simple answer. Natsu and Igneel lived together for X years. Igneel raised him for a year or two maybe 5 years, whatever.



Igneel fights Acnologia, Natsu is put into magic slumber(cryostasis) sleeps for 400+ years wakes up in modern time and doesn´t remember his past pre Igneel because Igneel has altered his memories. Like Weißlogia and the Shadow dragon have explained.

Could also be true, anyway what happened 400 years ago is important to the overall story, because it ties everything.

That explain why Natsu wasn't able to go past the barrier during the laxus arc.

So Natsu is Zeref's brother.

It's like the only good chapter since the year gap

Wow, what a twist about Natsu is actually E.N.D. and his brother as well that was created by Zeref in order to make Natsu strong enough to destroy Zeref himself which is why Natsu is way overpowered after one year of training. Interesting...
