Pros:
1. - Natsu and the rest of the team have developed strength wise. (And it was pretty cool imo)
2. Natsu remembering igneel probably the first time during this time skip was very sweet.
Cons: The villains were VERY disappointing. ( Seriously though hiro, don't waste time building them up if they were going to get one-shotted in the end. I mean u had the guy summon A FREAKIN GOD and made natsu defeat him like it was nothing. Plus the avatar members and their powers sucked balls.)
Well at least this arc is ending. Hopefully the fights in the future are going to have legitimate fighting instad of just another demonstration on how powerful natsu is now. Trust me Hiro, Natsu ONE-SHOTTING a GOD was a clear picture of his strength. Just want to find all these fairy tail members already so we can get to the good stuff.
Like...
-Is gray really going to kill frosch?
-E.N.D'S appearance
-Zeref
-Acnologia
-where the heck is Makarov?!
Crossing my fingers that the announcement has something to do with a new movie.
Well I agree with you like 70%. Your cons don't make since cuz u can basically think of this as the first episode of a new series where they show off the characters power. Avatar did ot suck dick Natsu and them were just super strong that was what hiro was trying to show. And before u say they did remember that even the magic council was worried about them. I like your likes and agree that I wanna get to the part where FT is back and questions answered, but come on this was a good arc it showed how beast Natsu and the others got and it was not just avatar and the God remeber Blue Note who it took Gildarts to beat, This time Natsu beat him with one attack, I mean u have to admit this was a good arc for displaying how strong everyone got and if u are still mad deal with it cuz Natsu had to become overpowered of he is to stand a chance in the final battle with Zeref and Acnologia.
Not that I'm trying to totally disagree with you here, but I'm just going to address some points into what you just said:
"Your cons don't make since cuz u can basically think of this as the first episode of a new series where they show off the characters power."
1- First of all, I already stated in my pros that I liked that this arc demonstrated the teams' developed strength. Infact, I thought almost everybody looked BADASS at some point.
" Avatar did ot suck dick Natsu and them were just super strong that was what hiro was trying to show"
2- Are you kidding me?! The avatar villains were terrible!
-one caused stomach aches
-one could only clone themselves
-one got goats to lick people's feet
-the puppeteer guy...See, I already forgot what happen to him!
Jerome and the master were okay, but that's besides the point. These people were supposed to be a part of a new era, as said by the arlock guy (refer back to 424) but they were taken down in one-punch. *_*. The GOD almost didn't even get to do a single thing! And we won't ever know how powerful it was now because it was defeated within a span of 5 pages.
" but come on this was a good arc it showed how beast Natsu and the others got and it was not just avatar and the God remeber Blue Note who it took Gildarts to beat, This time Natsu beat him with one attack, I mean u have to admit this was a good arc for displaying how strong everyone got and if u are still mad deal with it cuz Natsu had to become overpowered of he is to stand a chance in the final battle with Zeref and Acnologia."
3- I never said this was a bad arc. I just mean it could've been better. And yes like you said, Natsu one-shotting Bluenote was a good demonstation of his power. But all that means is that there really was no need for mashima to make Natsu do a one-shot finale twice if we were already clarified that fact. (I won't lie though. He did look epic in both of those attacks)
Overall the arc was just a bunch of pointless build-up that lead to disappointment. Yes, the fairy tail team are all powerful now, but if that can't be illustrated in a legitimate fight then that just makes everything confusing and makes people like me worried about how fights are going to go in the future.
Sorry I must have skipped over that one part where u stated that u liked how ever was badass but come on avatar did not suck no "Noramal wizard" could have beaten them why else do u think the magic council got involved. Okay I do agree this arc was a bit anti climatic but it's not like it was gonna be a big arc anyway I noticed that when Natsu and them dominated the avatar army and 1. Natsu did not 1 shot the god it took 2 with the second being his new badass move fire dragon king's crumbling fist 2. Even if it took a godslayer or someone else to take that thing down the most it would have been was an extra chapter. Though again I do agree this was anticlimactic I mean I was expecting some big brawl with avatar where Natsu and gray fight (surprise never thought that would happen *he said sarcastically) then the magic council shows up they meet up with levy and gajeel then whoop a avatars ass with only the boss and top six or whatever left. It would have been better if erza showed up saying something went wrong with the plan then Juvia and them show up and Juvia brings Gray to his senses. Then they would work together to defeat avatar and after every Fairy Tail member would work togheter to bring back Fairy Tail, but it did not happen that way and the end result is the same plus it was good to see Natsu and them dominate for once and think about if Natsu has become that over powered then that must mean he is about to have his final battle with Zeref and Acnologia and if he would have struggled with that God then Zeref and Acnologia would have been able to kill him in one blow.
