Fairy Tail Chapter 434 Discussion

This is what I think about Natsu getting so strong in only a year: 1. This one goes for all dragonslayers, I think that since their parents did not want them to turn into dragons even though they created antibodies maybe they were still worried and suppressed their powers. I'm thinking that now all dragonslayers except for second gen may be able to get a lot stronger with training like Natsu . 2. This one only goes for Natsu, since Natsu is E.N.D. His dad may have been suppressing his power a lot while inside him and now that he is gone Natsu can reach his full potential and just so u guys remember how powerful END is remebr he beat Igneel at his full power and Igneel was not at full power when he found aconologia cuz his soul had been taken and possibly destroyed by aconologia.

Tartaros is an exception plus the entire arc was 80+ chapters long. There was talk about how the Avatar Arc was supposed to eclipse Tartaros but it never did. The main group was beaten in less than 10 chapters. And most were one shots. The demons were beaten but they had FT knocking on death's door numerous times plus they upgraded to keep themselves in the fight. And that's mainly due to Tartaros being a huge game changing arc.The Avatar Arc is more mini arc than big end game potential and that's not what we wanted.  Because look at how OP Natsu is now. You can't stretch the story far to compensate for his power level now. The story has to end soon or we will continue to have Natsu overpowering opponents. Plus add the fact he is a dragon slayer who can go DF at will and the strongest demon from the Book of Zeref. Hiro has to end this now



This was a lackluster chapter and it seems Hiro is trying to finish this quickly

That´s why people say Fairy Tail is shit.



It´s chapters like this, who make the series look like shit.

It was to be expected but it was still bullshit, because of the requirements to summon this bullshit.

I viciously pounded on Gray? I WANTED HIM TO BE EVIL BECAUSE THE STORY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. We had Gajeel and Lily and Levy coming to fight him, we had the prophecy from Future Rogue about Frosch. All of that just went poof. And lo and behold the moment Gray was proven to be a mole, the whole arc goes to shit. We also have Erza acting horribly out of character by ignoring Juvia and not even CHECKING UP ON HER even though she wasn't the one infiltrating Avatar to the point that she could have died in the rain if Original Team Natsu hadn't found her. To say nothing about how fucking retarded and useless the whole plan to infiltrate Avatar actually was. This whole mess is such an obvious last minute retcon due to reactions from the fanbase.



This is why authors that don't listen to their fanbase and write their story the way they envisioned it are superior. Because shit like this doesn't happen.



So congratulations for being right about something that destroyed any validity or potential that this arc even had. You really love petty victories huh

Stop with the overkills dammit. Keep up with this style and soon  all the future fights will be boring..

This is an argument from someone who enjoyed Fairy Tail until Tenrou Island.Heaven's Towrr despite having a good amount of BS hits on anything with quality IMO.

U clearly know nothing about this chapter 1. It was a mini arc 2. That so called God never even used magic it just punched the ground, trust me anyone there that was part of FT could haved owned it. 3. Why does he have to lose first to say speech and get all passionate? Dude he was saying that speech FOR avatar because their guild master tried to kill them. 4. I posted why he could have got stronger and dude the final battle is comming up and if he could not own that fake God do u think he would be able to beat/kill zeref and aconolgia?

1.Why the fuck do I care if it was a mini arc?!Everything about it was pointless and BS.

2.I never made the point that it was god.I made the point that Erza got wet when it smashed the ground meaning that it would've wrecked.The God's feat is on par with Gildarts.

3.Why would he make a speech for Avatar to do this punch.Fodder?Seriously?It's very obvious he was making the speech more about Igneel which everyone knows is already dead in tartorous arc.

4.Reasons have nothing to do with anything here.Power scaling consistencies.Do you think he COULDVE GOTTEN THIS STRONG IN A YEAR!? I think not

You talk as though Fairy Tail is about to end instantly and won't be able to train soon.This BS Natsu pulled could've been far far less worse if He used a actual form like DF or some shit rather than fucking base form.

Dude this is fairy tail so u can not compare to other series by other people and he could have gotten that strong and this chapter is good because it is FairyTail and he was talking about avatar and only igneel at the end when he used a new move. Dude go back a chapter and see how mad he is at avatars master so unless u have not seen how mad he got at old Sabertooth u known he was speeching about avatar

For 3 reasons.



1. It was temporarily and removed right after.

2. It was an asspull (subjective) but all the powers were  already showcased through Obito. If you are mad at this you must be mad at Laxus sharing his power with Natsu (giving him a permanent power up.)

3. It wa not a plothole because posession and the delayed usage of ones Chakra where showcased on many occasions. Kushina being inactive for 16 years inside Naruto. Minatos sealing working after his death. Sasori using, the 3rd Kazekages steelsand, after killing him, Senju body parts replicating Hashiramas chakra. And the Edo Tensei who exists since everyones beloved Chunin exams.

On top of that this goes hand in hand with the concept of what Chakra basicly is.



One Piece worst bullshit was Pell, Caribou´s crew surviving around 10000 meter water pressure. Basicly everything that is tied to Oda refusing to kill off even fodder.

Still Fairy Tail pulled the same bullshit with Happy.



All the bullshit Naruto or One Piece have pulled up to date, was pulled by Fairy tail at least once. The bad part is it pulls even further bullshit.

Pros:

1. - Natsu and the rest of the team have developed strength wise. (And it was pretty cool imo)

2. Natsu remembering igneel probably the first time during this time skip was very sweet.



Cons: The villains were VERY disappointing. ( Seriously though hiro, don't waste time building them up if they were going to get one-shotted in the end. I mean u had the guy summon A FREAKIN GOD and made natsu defeat him like it was nothing. Plus the avatar members and their powers sucked balls.)



Well at least this arc is ending. Hopefully the fights in the future are going to have legitimate fighting instad of just another demonstration on how powerful natsu is now. Trust me Hiro, Natsu ONE-SHOTTING a GOD was a clear picture of his strength. Just want to find all these fairy tail members already so we can get to the good stuff.
