You're forgetting who his main opponents are that pushed him to go training in the first place. One is the last surviving dragon and the other is the Immortal Zeref. That level of power is necessary. Zeref is not like freakin Voldemort who split his soul into several macguffins that once destroyed will make him mortal again and ACNOLOGIA HAS OBLITERATED ENTIRE KINGDOMS ON HIS OWN.

This arc was trying to reflect off of Lullaby Arc a bit (I think). I felt that this arc was rushed and it was only used to demonstrate Natsu's power level (And he still hasn't used DF). I'd prefer if it was Gray's fight because we already knew how OP Natsu was after the this timeskip, and it's time for Gray to shine and show what he's made of (Unless Gray one-shots in the next arc to rival Natsu).



get that Natsu has to be way stronger to be able to fight against Zeref or Acnologia but I really wanted to see the other main characters like Gray or Erza to show off how much they have trained/ got stronger rather than Natsu doing all the fights. I get it Natsu is OP and I have been shown that many times throughout these latest chapters but please I want to see more interesting fights and have other characters fight :( .



Laxus had the same goal Natsu. "protect everyone" Laxus may be very very very strong.



Gray had another goal (maybe not strong has Laxus and Natsu) to fullfill his father last wish! Gray may be equal or almost equal has Natsu

Zeref won't be showing up any time soon.

Fairy Tail's battles have always been hacks, lacks intensity even for a shounen manga. So I wasn't surprised when that god got split in half but Natsu, alone. It's just his friendship talk that is unbearable. If he didn't do that speech, the god kill would have been more accepting.

The cringe was that it was Natsu alone and it was a oneshot+it was a godamn GOD.



No Fairy tail wasn´t always a oneshot fest, they always get overhyped but they got pushed back a couple of times, even though the fights are pretty similar to One Piece, aka I throw my shit at you then you throw your shit at me and we do this till one loses.

Even the various Colossus in Shadow of the Colosus exhibited more intelligence than this guy

Yea END will be terrifying. If he kills anyone it should be Lucy. Just to show fucked they are. (For Natsu to even hit Lucy is unthinkable right now) and he "killing" her shows how END have full and total control
