Natsu - insanely strong and has his power of friendship, guild, comrades, family and a dragon and the bastard still wants to get stronger?

Double chapters next week is awesome! But with weeks of double chapters gives me an ominous feeling of a hiatus in the forecoming future?

This one goes for all dragonslayers, I think that since their parents did not want them to turn into dragons even though they created antibodies maybe they were still worried and suppressed their powers. People seem to really love jumping the gun about gods. Or should I point out that Warrod is one of the four gods of Ishval? This so called god of War was about as big as the giants from the Sun Village. So again people acting like he should be some kind of omnipotent entity when he's just someone really powerful and really big to average people.



Take a look at the extent of what said god did. He lumbered slowly and made one SLOW slash but devastating slash and didn't even pull his sword back out after that to shake it off while Natsu clambered up it. THat was no real god. Just a huge monster labeled a god.



Compare this god's feats to the fight that the King of the Celestial Spirits had with Marde. You honestly can tell me you can call that mindless brute a god? Seriously? You people just love to misinterpret Mashima and bash on him for sport. Galaxia blade was MUCH more damaging than this God's slash anyway

You have got to feel bad for Arlock. He burns off his face to get a God of War and it gets two-shot by some random guy. If the fight had involved all of the Fairy Tail team like Lullaby it would have felt a bit more reasonable and made these Gods feel at least somewhat intimidating.



I understand that this is supposed to showcase everyone's growth but it is quickly becoming the Natsu show. So far Natsu has curb-stomped that top guild at the magic games, Bluenote Stinger, Arlock and now a literal God. While it is true that Natsu will eventually deal with major foes like Acnologia and Zeref, it would be a bit ironic that a series so obsessed with bonds and friendship would have one person do the heavy lifting while everyone else just spectates. Teamwork is not necessarily a bad thing in a big fight. For example, in Rave Master everyone worked together to take down Pumpkin Doryu and it really made the whole 'bonds' concept feel like it actually mattered.



I will admit that there was some nice emotion presented in this chapter, but it seemed so token and just there for sake of the filling an invisible quota for friendship speeches.

I finally realised how shit Fairy Turd is...
