It's not in his character to feel guilty about Kyoko, he doesn't need to understand anything except Kyoko was useful to him and he threw her away prematurely....I don't think there is any genuine feelings of love (even at a subconscious level) from Shou, he just wants his little "slave" back (the whole you don't realize how much you miss something until its not there routine).  Though I do think the author will force these feelings upon Shou for drama's sake...even if they are out of character.

Bad boy =/= alpha....Bad boy is some one who tries to break all the rules but alpha is a man's man (Shou isn't exactly alpha because he's too feminine but occasionally does alpha things like that kiss) and just doesn't care  what others think of them (again the kiss...but he cares what Ren thinks so he's not 100% alpha...just has those moments).

Ren rox my sox.....I'm don't think hes hot either....(though maybe it's because I'm male :P)

I'm slowly gaining faith in skip beat again.

I must admit I've been rooting for Shou and Kyoko, though, because Ren takes too long. (I'm sorry but the manga comes out about once a month and 30 pages isn't nearly long enough to advance the storyline at a suitable pace. So I've been losing interest, and Shou seems to act much quicker. :P )

So, the kiss made me squeal like a fangirl. Seeing Ren's reaction and his Kuon moment was priceless though.

I love Ren's reaction and comments at the end of the chapter, and completely agree with him. I think in the next chapter he'll somehow comfort Kyoko and make her stronger, or at least hoping this is the case.Again, this is along what I'm thinking but how in the world are they going to get to that point? While I do agree with Ren, he was pretty harsh on the currently scarred-for-life Kyoko.

And my thing with Sho is I do see what you're saying in that he wants to possess her and wants to go back to the servant situation but I think that because he wants to be the largest presence in Kyoko's mind (this can debatably be only for servant reasons but can also work for my case too) and gets annoyed when thinking of her being lovey-dovey with Ren or Reino shows that he doesn't just want her as a servant.

Like in this page and the ones around it in this chapter: http://www.onemanga.com/Skip_Beat/62/21/

In this page his main reason for not going out with her is because she's not number one in the industry. she's not cool or sexy enough to be his girlfriend. NOT that he doesn't like her. With that said... she is creeping her way up to becoming the number one in the industry... maybe that's what will get him to realize what he's feeling? But I don't think that should be a reason to date someone so Kyoko should definitely reject him lol.

Sho is officially an idiot.. Come on, he doesn't want Kyoko to love him, he just wants her to think about him.. That's so creepy ¬¬

I wonder about this... Maybe he just doesn't want to admit it to himself. People are funny when they're in denial.

Yeah, but that's what he's thinking. Even if it's denial, it's what he believes he wants.. =/

*is going to get hurt for this*

I actually like Shou so I realllly enjoyed that whole thing about him being jealous and getting her the flowers and then kissing her in front of Ren XD It was just so freaking funny to me.

I loved this chapter!  This is why I love Skip Beat!  Things don't always turn out the way you expect them to.  And I completely agree that Shou is being an ass by trying to monopolize Kyoko's mind.  Before, I was sure that it was because he has feelings for her.  Now, I'm not so sure...but there could be two reasons why:

1) He could be in love with her afterall, and is just having trouble accepting it since he's the one that dumped her, and he's known her for practically all of his life.  In that case, Shou's problem would be a matter of pride.

2) Maybe he needs her, maybe not romantically, but in another way. All of his life, he's been pampered by her, and now that she doesn't want anything to do with him (except for revenge), he might be feeling odd because he's had to adjust to a life without Kyoko.  This would mean that Shou is just being selfsh as always...which I remember it saying somewhere in the manga that if he were to be described in one word, then it would be selfish (i might be wrong though)

As for Ren, I can understand why a lot of people are upset about his reaction, but I actually preferred it.  I know that just about everyone was hoping that Ren would comfort her, and finally make a move, but I honestly think that it wouldn't advance the relationship at all.  Though I've seen several interpretations to this already, I think that Ren's remark at the very end was a sign of him losing control to the point of going out of character, and showing his true self.  All of this time, Ren Tsuruga (or Tsuruga Ren...which flows better in my opinion) has been a role that he has been playing for five years, and may I remind you that Ren and Kuon are two different people.  If this couple is going to live happily-ever-after (which I hope they will) then Kyoko has to fall in love with Kuon, not Ren.  Though Kyoko has seen some instances where he goes out of character, most of the time, Ren is very good about staying in control.  So I've been worried that Kyoko would be falling for his fascade and not the person behind the mask which is why his reaction made me feel somewhat relieved.

^Shoutarou's ego is huge and of course he can't feel guilty as he is right now. He was always pampered, learned to have things go his way and is entirely egocentric so doing something wrong is out of the question for "the great him" and it's always the others' fault. He just doesn't really care; his selfish self comes first. He can mature, learn that he's not the center of the world and feel remorse though. However, he haven't changed the least bit and so I can't like him, that's all I'm saying(the "he needs/should..." part was actually going to "for me to like him"). He is amusing right now as I've said but that doesn't make me like him. I do think he's fallen for Kyoko but his ego comes first and his possessiveness prevails. Romantic feelings aren't out of character and Shoutarou may be who he is but he can still fall in love(in his own selfish way if you want).

Heh I know, I didn't actually have any comment on the alpha part and I talked about the bad boy because this designation seems to be given to him a lot.

Well, I find Ren hot(apparently because I'm a female :pp) but that's not the reason I like him.

I don't think Shou can mature any time soon (he's one of those guys that won't settle down till he's hit 30)...basically you're never going to like him :P.  Personally, I don't like him either but I'm glad he exists in the manga (it just wouldn't be Skip Beat! without him).  Romantic feelings aren't out of character for Shou, romantic feelings for Kyoko are though....honestly as a male, the only reason Shou would go after Kyoko would be for lust and not love.  He could have gone out with her and "played" with her as much as he wanted in the beginning but after he ditched her, she got much hotter and now he wants to "play" with her after she's become a hot commodity...there are no romantic feelings just lustful ones to fulfill his pleasure.  His egotistic nature perhaps encourages this desire more so than if he were less possessive, he feels he needs to conquer her at some point.

Nothing wrong with finding Ren sexy :P

Shou is like a wannabe bad boy at best mixed in with some alpha.
