Argh Shou ! ... !!!

Well... it's Shou we're talking about... What did I expect... I thought he finally made some love move ... Silly me (T_T)

About Ren, wasn't that last line quite a gamble for him... ?

Kyoko being herself, it's probably the only way to take her out of her "nightmarish" thought... But as she is too, from nom on it will never (ever) cross her mind that Ren might like her... The jealousy (cos there is, for sure !) behind those words neither... No ?

A~h  want to see the reaction of the others peoples too ! Will Tsuruga Ren's image remain intact .. or not ?!!

AND REGARDING REN, HE DID THE BEST THING EVER!!!

I believe if he makes her realize, the first kiss wasn't THAT big of a deal, she'll not sink into Fuckuwa's plan, meaning, she will not allow him to control her mind even more once again. I know Ren saw right through him. He's gonna karata chop Fuwa!!!

I'm sure he saw through him too but aren't 80% of it due to anger and frustration ? Lol kawaii !!

And that mind-battle! That's so Skip Beat! I love it, the reason I read it!!

Same thought ^^

WTF.

Stupid Sho needs to jump off a cliff.

that or he needs to ACKNOWLEDGE he loves her. right now he still wants possession in any way possible and that will definitely backfire.

and while I was surprised by Ren's reactions, I'll admit it does make sense. i totally agree with wiltedxrose in that Ren Tsuruga is one of his facades so if we want a Kyoko-Ren relationship to last, she needs to fall in love with the REAL him, which would be a mix of Kuon, Ren, and how he was in between the two because from my understanding, I'd say Kuon is the youngest version which Kyoko first met and not the 'badass' version we've only heard of briefly and that's the phase where his death glares come from. So while he could have comforted Kyoko, you also have to realize what's done is done so by taking the mean side it's more likely she'll learn from this than simply being stunned by his smile. Also, having just seen Sho come in with a HUGE bouquet of flower (shock!) and then finding out he was wrong about the chocolates being given to Sho but that they were given to Reino (shock!) and then seeing Sho kiss Kyoko(SHOCK!) and it was her first kiss would DEFINITELY push him off the edge. He may be a good actor but we all know when it comes to Kyoko, he weakens and can't keep up his facade all the time.

Still, I don't know how this is going to turn out. Especially with the bday gift yet to be opened.

I totally agree. I feel kind of sorry for Tsuruga-san after the last couple of chapters. So much has come into the light that he didn't know about. I'm surprised his brain didn't go on overload and have mechanical errors or something. Anyways, I think that's why he got so angry at the end. Yes, Sho kissing Kyoko (bad Sho! *whack*)  was very angering to Tsuruga-san, but to add that on top of everything else. It's just way to much to handle.

All I can say is that I can't wait for Tsuruga-san to open his present and I can't wait for October 5th.

Haha!

People are so funny about what they're saying about Ren being cold.

You guys simply don't get it, do you?

That wasn't Ren.

That was Kuon simply slipping out of his Ren facade; why? Because it involves Kyoko.

If it was some other girl, he'd undoubtedly say sweet words to her, to comfort her, and that girl would undoubtedly, easily slip out of her reverie coz the words came out of his mouth. We all know the girls LOOOOVE Tsuruga Ren. :'p lawl

But some of you got that reaction right. =']

I felt nostalgic when Ren said those words. O,o

It felt so much like Kuon.

Just seeing the Chinese raw though, I, unfortunately, was disappointed as well.

But after finding out what happened there...I'm quite sure he acted that way coz his true self was slipping out.

And yes, haha, mind battle thing was hilarious and sooo Skip Beat!-like. :'p

Also...Nakamura-sensei sure knows which strings to pull to make us fans happy and anticipate for more. >_<

Sensei, you S. lawl xD

I have to disagree about Shou feeling lustful feelings for Kyoko...but I definitely think that he's a wanna be playboy.  In fact, he's still a boy in a lot of ways.

Do you think Shou has romantic feelings for Kyoko though? (subconscious even...since hes not admitting anything right now).  I'm saying that if Shou has any interest in Kyoko its only lustful, there's no love but if you think there's no feelings whatsoever than at least we agree he has no romantic interest.

Yes, he is a boy....which is partially why I like Ren's character more (I won't get into the details).  He just thinks he can get whoever he wants whenever he wants...but he fails with Kyoko, wannabe playboy idd.

I honestly don't know for sure if Shou's feelings for Kyoko are romantic or not, and I still think his feelings for her aren't lustful because if they were wouldn't he have tried to kiss her earlier on in the manga?  Though his feelings for her aren't very clear, I definitely think that whatever they are...they're not beneficial for Kyoko.

Earlier in the manga, Kyoko was just a wannabe actress in a pink jumpsuit...eventually she got recognized as a legitimate talent and starred in a big role as Mio.  Then she continued to get a few extra roles through her notoriety of being a dark, sadistic character and became like a b-list celeb.  Shou didn't bother making any moves on her since she still hadn't proved herself as famous actress yet.  Now that Kyoko actually has some self-worth, Shou just wants to dominate a valuable Kyoko (I mean she's got Ren interested in her...she's no longer the girl that'll bend over backwards for anyone).  He's always jealous of Kyoko's successful career so far, the best way to dominate Kyoko and break her career would be through a sexual relationship with her... just to toy with her emotions and break her down.

I'm going to repeat my reaction from 145. WTH?!

While this arc has brought back immense momentum to the story, it's really angering me. I'm standing firmly on Ren's side. Shou is just a bratty jerk.

I simply don't understand why anyone would think Shou loves Kyoko. He does not love Kyoko romantically at all. He's only doing what he's doing to save his stupid childlike pride. There is no freaking jealousy involved, not in love, career, or any worthy aspect of life. So while I'm freaking mad over that idiotic kiss, it's not worthy of Kyoko's tears. Therefore, I completely agree with what Ren said. And honestly, try looking it from Ren's perspective. He has very good reasons for saying those hurtful words. His pain is probably much greater than you can imagine and I'm waiting for an even bigger explosion from him.

Back to waiting for the next chapter.

I'm glad to see that Ren knows Kyoko so well. the Ren from earlier chapters wouldn't have recognized the fact that Kyoko was looking for tough love and relying on him to provide it.

I do wish this arc would hurry up and end though :/

I wondered why someone went back to the chapter 145 discussion to mention that after reading this chapter they hate Ren, but now i understand.

But is he truly feeling this way, or is he just hiding the way he really feels?
