500 dollar chocolate... What the heck. I laughed about the 'mind battle' part. Our lovely mangaka sure knows how to make things weird, haha. Lots of Ren-expressions, almost in shock. I guess what he said in the end was a véry jealous Ren.

^I'm not saying he should apologize; he should feel a bit guilty at the least though. He hasn't felt/shown anything like that. Yes, Kyoko was at fault too of course, it takes two to tango, but he exploited her incredible naiveness and used her horribly. He needs to understand that; it's common sense and he's not a kid(<-that's doubtful though). Well, the fact that Shoutarou threw her away like that is actually the best thing that has ever happened to her but this doesn't change what he did.

About the kiss and stuff...I wasn't really bothered by it. The fact that he's using every method he can right now to never "let her escape" from him(even if it's because of his feelings of love) without caring how much this hurts and destroys her though, is outrageous.

I like "bad boys" in manga (and in general-but that's another, not very interesting story XDD) however Shoutarou isn't a "bad boy", he's just an ass. I for one, cannot like him.(Or you could blame it on the chocolate XP)

Ren rocks. And not because he's "Omigawd sooo hot!!11one"

Ren acknowledges that he has feelings for Kyoko but where has that led? Nowhere! I say let Shou keep teasing Kyoko even if he doesn't realize his feelings - because at least it's more fun to read than Ren doing NOTHING.

Hmm... that is quite true... but I think the main difference between the two is that Ren still very strongly does not want to get into a relationship and even with Kyoko, he needs to take itsy bitsy steps so he doesn't screw up the one chance he'll get. On the other hand, if Sho realizes it, he may be annoyed with himself for a while but if he's already taking more action without having realized it, imagine what he'll do when he does.

I'm still in shock and suspense with how Nakamura's going to get out of this one. Anything I can think of will end up being irreparable, which then kind of destroys the love rectangle.

Quoted from Nikoli: I don't think Shou can mature any time soon (he's one of those guys that won't settle down till he's hit 30)...basically you're never going to like him :P.  Personally, I don't like him either but I'm glad he exists in the manga (it just wouldn't be Skip Beat! without him).  Romantic feelings aren't out of character for Shou, romantic feelings for Kyoko are though....honestly as a male, the only reason Shou would go after Kyoko would be for lust and not love.  He could have gone out with her and "played" with her as much as he wanted in the beginning but after he ditched her, she got much hotter and now he wants to "play" with her after she's become a hot commodity...there are no romantic feelings just lustful ones to fulfill his pleasure.  His egotistic nature perhaps encourages this desire more so than if he were less possessive, he feels he needs to conquer her at some point.

Nothing wrong with finding Ren sexy :P

Shou is like a wannabe bad boy at best mixed in with some alpha.

edit 100th post, feel special :D

I have to disagree about Shou feeling lustful feelings for Kyoko...but I definitely think that he's a wanna be playboy.  In fact, he's still a boy in a lot of ways.

Well, I was expecting some punches and kicks... I hope Kyoko will think of a plan to revenge her stolen kiss =p

UGGGGHHHHH, I HATE SHO, HE PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!!!! >:( I have my first kiss reserved and if some guy I absolutely detested with all my might stole that away from me, I'd be so disgusted and humiliated and feel vulnerable as fuck and might even want to jump off a cliff into the raging river with sharp boulders to stab my gut after landing then sweeping me away into the dark abyss so that no one can ever find me, that PIG!!!!!!!!! I won't EVER let Kyoko fall into his hands!!!!!!!! Anyone who can still support him after that doesn't understand what it's like to protect virgin lips only to have it robbed from you and never being able to get it back again.

I'M SO FRUSTRATED, I JUST WANT TO STRANGLE HIS NECK.

I simply don't understand why anyone would think Shou loves Kyoko. He does not love Kyoko romantically at all. He's only doing what he's doing to save his stupid childlike pride. There is no freaking jealousy involved, not in love, career, or any worthy aspect of life. So while I'm freaking mad over that idiotic kiss, it's not worthy of Kyoko's tears. Therefore, I completely agree with what Ren said. And honestly, try looking it from Ren's perspective. He has very good reasons for saying those hurtful words. His pain is probably much greater than you can imagine and I'm waiting for an even bigger explosion from him..

YES. OMG. THANK YOU. Not ONCE did it EVER creep into the darkest corner in the back of my mind did I think that Shittarou had ANY LOVE FOR KYOKO. He's not trying to "adapt to life without Kyoko and confused about what to do about her absence and therefore trying to keep her in his possession" Fuck that. Even when Kyoko was her innocent child self, he's had other women in his lives to take care of him if you guys could recall back in volume 1 how he would often stay at his manager's place for as long as possible even knowing Kyoko was happily waiting for him at home >:(

Ren slash Kuon, however, has ALWAYS been there for her since WAY BACK before this manga series was even published, in the original ink from the mangaka. He has stuck with her through thick and thin and loves her to death, despite knowing how one-sided his love is currently AND getting hurt without Kyoko even realizing it.

On top of that, we've seen how the other two women of the Dark Moon cast is sugarcoating her fall with amiability and sympathy, but poor Kyoko-chan can't do anything but keep crying her eyes out. That's clearly not the way to go.

Ren is a Demon Lord Golden Angel From The Past and I couldn't think of ANYONE more befitting to be with Kyoko than he is. Pray tell that everything can be fixed soon, geez.

As for Ren, I can understand why a lot of people are upset about his reaction, but I actually preferred it.  I know that just about everyone was hoping that Ren would comfort her, and finally make a move, but I honestly think that it wouldn't advance the relationship at all.  Though I've seen several interpretations to this already, I think that Ren's remark at the very end was a sign of him losing control to the point of going out of character, and showing his true self.  All of this time, Ren Tsuruga (or Tsuruga Ren...which flows better in my opinion) has been a role that he has been playing for five years, and may I remind you that Ren and Kuon are two different people.  If this couple is going to live happily-ever-after (which I hope they will) then Kyoko has to fall in love with Kuon, not Ren.  Though Kyoko has seen some instances where he goes out of character, most of the time, Ren is very good about staying in control.  So I've been worried that Kyoko would be falling for his fascade and not the person behind the mask which is why his reaction made me feel somewhat relieved.

You  got that right! :D, and hopefully Kyoko will change his mind about the charming prince stuff, 'cause Ren is actually not like that, even when he seems like it..and I loved that reaction, is so cunning and yet so unrestrained of him. I hope we see more of this..he was about to lose it there before Kyoko pushed the asshole away (Ren's angry face=really scary).

I really wonder how will Kyoko answer..since this is a really important thing to her, but then again, she worships Ren so I guess she will not get angry at him? hmm, interesting development ^^ can't wait to see more.

I really didn't expect Kyoko to react this way but I still love it! I was so excited. Sho is officially a one of my favorite favorite characters now. In the last chapter they didn't show what led up to this kiss so I think its good that we see that it wasn't just him grabbing her for a kiss but him retrieving his borrowed chocolate ^_^

I think that Ren was a bit of an ass at the end though. It is obvious that if she is making a big deal about her first kiss being stolen (and we all know how Kyoko thinks) I would think Ren would have tried to comfort her instead of brushing it off as overreacting. All this is going to do is sink her into a deeper depression or piss her off. If he was smart he would have comforted her and maybe got some cuddle time or something XD

Maybe Ren just lost it (his control or his mind) considering how he laughed. This is definitely out of the ordinary for him. Ren hasn't gotten violent yet (if he ever will) so this is the best way to lash out. He is definitely shocked. And I loved how Sho smiled as he past him!

I can't wait to see how she reacts next!

Sho is officially an idiot.. Come on, he doesn't want Kyoko to love him, he just wants her to think about him.. That's so creepy ¬¬

I wonder about this... Maybe he just doesn't want to admit it to himself. People are funny when they're in denial.

About Ren's reaction: for me, it is the best imaginable one. Should he get angry, he would just add fuel to the flames of Kyoko's shock over her first kiss. Ridiculing her about her reaction is a very straighforward way of trying to make her forget about Sho. No reason to underline the importance of his actions, right?

Omg, I love Skip Beat sooo much haha. XD This chap was so intense. I lol'd how Sho found an excuse to kiss Kyoko XDD *shoves piece of chocolate inside mouth* Also the whole "mental picture: battle of morality" vs "reality: why is it such a passionate kiss!??" was soooo hilarious haha. Also I LOVED the look on Ren's face, he was so going to kill Sho at that moment.

Hm, I wonder what were Ren's last lines for? Is he simply really angry, or is he trying to make Kyoko forget about Sho, because he understood Sho's objective? :3
