As the trend of first person point of view rises, only few books actually succeed in doing this. This book is truly one of those. There are no awkward moments in the descriptions and the way the story flows. Each word is carefully chosen to craft this page-turning masterpiece. I always recommend Sunny's writing but this one is particularly enticing with both the FL/ML interaction and the rich backgrounds of characters as they add to the story at every turn. In the FL's relationships, there's a tender warmth than you can feel in your heart as you read. When she interacts and responds to the world around her, those feelings become yours as well. Speaking of the FL, she is a badas* who refuses to be a doormat and I think we deserve more FL's out there like this. Despite her being in a position under the cold CEO, I think she counters him well and isn't spineless. However, the mysterious man also makes me want to know more. I already know the big reveals throughout the story will come at the perfect time and be done so beautifully.I can't wait to learn more about the world being created in this novel. I actually thought the warning in the disclaimer was subtle but the description is eye wrenching. I skipped most of it, the story is good but the author needs to do something about the chapters. It would discourage readers... the story line is superb and the characters are refreshing
