Wataru finds himself transported to a new world after death, bestowed with a flawed ability. His primary goals are to indulge in a luxurious, leisurely lifestyle and build a harem. The storyline is rather straightforward, verging on cliché. However, the crux of the issue lies in how a lazy, timid, and inexperienced individual, given immense ease to attain his objectives, would react.

Predictably, there's little progression or character growth over nearly 20 volumes. The protagonist slowly loses inhibitions, but that's about it. It's understandable, considering the abundance of resources and low-risk, low-effort strategy at his disposal. Unfortunately, as the story progresses, the protagonist's thought process becomes increasingly unappealing.

The initial premise holds potential, with intriguing characters that stand out, save for the protagonist. The problem lies in limited perspectives, as most of the narrative revolves around Wataru, leaving others underdeveloped. It's a shame, as their unique qualities go underutilized.

So far, I'm really enjoying this story. It's a tranquil and leisurely read, perfect for those seeking a relaxed experience rather than an action-packed adventure. The protagonist primarily aims to amass wealth to acquire better ships and lead a luxurious life surrounded by beautiful women. However, some readers might find his timid nature off-putting. Personally, I appreciate the contrast, as not everyone can relate to the high-stakes lifestyles often portrayed in otherworld tales. As someone who lives on a farm and struggles with the sight of blood, I find this more relatable.

The only critique I have is that the MC's relationships with the girls seem rather superficial. He focuses too much on their physical attractiveness and lacks the development of a genuine romantic connection. Unfortunately, there's not much room for character growth, even if the MC isn't inclined for combat. Overall, the story is a slow-paced journey where the MC actively strives to enhance his surroundings and bring himself joy.

The romantic and risqué elements are tolerable, as they provide some progression.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the manga, which is why I decided to explore this adaptation. However, the content currently available has been released after the manga and doesn't significantly enhance the narrative. Until more volumes are translated, I would suggest sticking with the manga for a more comprehensive experience."

The protagonist's primary goal is to live a carefree life on a lavish cruise ship, indulged by attractive women who cater to his every desire, including sexual favors. This sums up about 90% of the story. His only hobby is playing with slimes, and his days revolve around watching DVDs, reading manga, and ogling the women he has financially dependent on him due to their arrangement.

Surrounded by two groups – s*x slaves he agreed to relationships with after fulfilling specific conditions, and adventuresses who serve as his bodyguards but maintain a non-romantic distance – the protagonist aims to exploit their attachment to the luxurious lifestyle, hoping they'll become so reliant on it that they'll pursue a relationship for continued access.

The author often reveals the protagonist's thoughts on the women, admiring their beauty but having no genuine emotional connection. The women, aware of his intentions, reciprocate with lukewarm feelings, describing him as tolerable. Despite having the ability to elevate himself beyond anyone else's reach, he chooses not to focus on self-improvement, particularly in combat or physical prowess.

Additionally, the character openly states that should his current circumstances become too demanding, he'd readily abandon everything and disappear to another location without hesitation.

Similar to many readers who discovered the web novel, they initially came across the manga adaptation. The story's charm lies in its humor and lighthearted tone, but it also has its drawbacks:

    1. Repeated reliance on stereotypical Japanese herbivore characters, often portraying them as peaceful idiots. The harem dynamics can feel either teasing or contrived, with plotlines taking indirect rather than straightforward approaches, whether in social or military contexts.

    2. Despite the focus on the luxury liner, the main character struggles to utilize his full potential, haunted by the examples of those who have previously influenced the world in significant ways. This internal conflict weighs on the narrative.

    3. Lastly, the character's portrayal as a controlled dog with a split personality sums up his essence - a serious undertone acts as a disruptive force in an otherwise enjoyable tale.

In essence, while the story maintains a lighthearted atmosphere, these elements can disrupt the balance and hinder its progression.
