"This is incredible! I've seen the drama before, but I had no idea there was a novel behind it. Now that I've discovered the book, I'm thrilled to dive deeper into the story because, unfortunately, the TV adaptation had to shy away from a more explicit love interest due to China's censorship. Despite that, the drama was fantastic, and I have high hopes that the novel will be even more amazing. I can't wait to explore it further; it's a real gem!"

I absolutely adore the dynamic between all the couples; they are adorable and seem perfectly suited for each other. The storylines, including the murder mysteries, captivate me with their intricate plots and clever resolutions. The unraveling of these mysteries and the detective work involved is fascinating. I also appreciate the cute interactions between characters like Zhan Yao and Zhao Jue, their playful banter adding an endearing touch to the narrative.

"Oh my gosh, at last! Someone has taken notice of this! This novel is truly fantastic, with mind-bending twists and, of course, a touch of BL (Boy Love) :D But seriously, you should also watch the drama adaptation; it's definitely worth it."

I hold a deep affection for mystery and crime stories, and incorporating a BL (Boy's Love) element only enhances the experience. I'm confident that readers who discovered the novel through the drama will find it particularly thrilling, as the suspense multiplies by tenfold. To truly appreciate the narrative and depth, I recommend delving into "Lilies are Flowers" and "Nighthawk Works." I sincerely hope others will find as much enjoyment in this tale as I did. I eagerly anticipate the second season of the drama, excited to hear it will feature the original cast.

I would rate the translation as 5 out of 5, particularly praising Lilies are Flowers and Nighthawk Works for their excellent work. The storytelling pace is also a solid 5/5, maintaining a gripping drama-like flow without any dull moments.

However, the character development receives a 3/5. Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang maintain consistency, but their chemistry lacks depth. Gongsun Ce's character arc seems inconsistent, starting as a dark character but later transforming into a typical tsundere. Bai Jingtang might be intriguing for some, but his actions and the portrayal of brain damage as a plot device raise questions about the author's understanding of the subject.

In terms of scientific accuracy, the rating is 3/5. Although the author attempts to incorporate psychology, some aspects are portrayed inaccurately, like Zhao Jue's character and the portrayal of Dissociative Identity Disorder. The author appears to have done minimal research, which can be disappointing for readers expecting a well-researched police procedural.

Overall, the story is lightweight and entertaining, suitable for a casual read, but with noticeable inconsistencies and a superficial approach to its scientific elements. If the author aimed for a supernatural mystery rather than pretending to be a realistic police investigation, the story might have been more enjoyable without the reliance on misunderstood psychology.

"I am really enjoying the character development in this novel; it has captivated me thus far. The translations are top-notch, particularly with the interactions between Kitty and Mouse, as well as the魔法师 and Bai Chi. There's an undeniable chemistry among them that I find compelling."

I absolutely adored the connection between the male lead (ML) and the main character (MC). Their relationship was incredibly supportive and mature, with minimal foolishness from either party. The way the ML treated the MC was truly exceptional, and it left me feeling somewhat down about my own prospects. I continued reading primarily due to their dynamic.

While the story's central mysteries were intriguing, they weren't the primary reason I stayed engaged. I must admit, I'm not particularly fond of mysteries, and I never felt the irresistible urge to discover what happened next.

However, I do have a significant concern regarding the portrayal of mental illness in the book. The depiction of multiple personality disorder (now known as dissociative identity disorder) as a motive for violence is not only inaccurate but also potentially harmful. The novel seems to paint all mentally ill individuals as violent criminals, perpetuating a harmful stereotype.

As for the secondary relationships, I despised Gongsun Zhe and Bai Jintang's dynamic. Their initial behavior, involving stalking, manipulation, and guilt-tripping, made it difficult for me to root for them.
