This is a tale that distorts the scenario of an otome game.

An orphan girl named Alicia is attacked by a woman trying to steal her body to become the “heroine”. From the fragmentary knowledge she acquires, Alicia learns that this world is the stage of an “otome game” in a “world of sword and magic”.

Having learned the truth from the knowledge she obtained, the immature Alicia dismisses the otome game as “nonsense” and runs away from the orphanage to escape the fate of the “heroine”.

A villainess aims to take her life. A fake heroine appears. Alicia trains herself using the fragmentary knowledge she has gained in order to survive, growing into the “Strongest Assassin” that is feared by both the Thieves’ Guild and the Assassins’ Guild.

    Actually I don't know why im still posting review.anyways the story is really out of place or is it just that I'm used to reading mc pov but man i dont even see mc pov after 10 chapters. The side characters are filling up the chapters. Well im dropping it.Thanks anyways keep up the good work

    I don't give 5 stars but some idiots lowered the rating by giving 1 star without even reading the story. Let me tell you all that this story is OG. It was published at around same time as Sign In Buddha Palm, The initiator of the Sign in Trope. And this is written much better than anything else. If you want to know what a Chilling in Cultivation world is... Read this story!

    I think I've watched something similar of this on a Chinese drama, I'm way past 50 chapters already and I'm getting familiar vibes. this novel was adopted to a drama and I dropped it as it was taking too long to cure his disease while it would have been fine as long as he grew his strength but that's not the case. I didn't like the female lead as it was yourong who's adding the mc's sufferings while she almost didn't do anything or nothing at all just like a flower on a vase. beautiful to look at but no practical purpose while costing a lot of money.maybe the novel is better but I didn't like the adopted drama.

    This is a really solid novel so far. The writing quality is great. The story, while a little confusing at first, explains itself over time. You can tell that it is well thought out and has a clear direction. The updates are godly. Maybe because it is TGIF today, but the author just released a lot of chapters.  Again, if you want a good fantasy novel that is solid and unique, this is the place to be.
