Unfinished Business

If I were to draw a graph of ML clearly displaying red flagish traits and not hiding it anymore, the graph would go up and down continuously, without going below zero. Girl so broken he cannot decide whether he wants to say a little lie, lock MC up or rape him and torture mentally.
Update: I'm still reading and what the hell BREAKING BONES? He really has outdone himself. I start to wonder how many times will the author make him beg for forgiveness and pretend it wasn't him doing all that shit, so all the fans can forget how fucked up he is.
Update 2: Alright, so we're just saying that all that suffering was JUST LIFE and we need to move on, Eugene had such a hard life so let's just forget it all. Oh! And OBVIOUSLY there is someone worse than Eugene, so if we look at it that way - Eugene is a great guy 😃👍 Husband and father material ❤️ And YEAH!!! Comparing fighting as kids to torturing and running away in fear is a great comparison 😃👍

If the story wasn't so fucked up, I'd give it higher score no doubt. But I hated reasons of ML, I can't comprehend how can you connect the dots that way, doesnt consider a convo and do worst things possible to a person looking for you 15 years. I really hoped there would be something more to his backstory that would could lift the fault JUST A LITTLE, but is wasn't enough. Also I feel like author made MC a gangster so it would be easier to picture their reunion. Like wooow he was also a bad guy, so surely he's perfect for this complete psycho.
