Author just write the story without thinking.. research... and only write random story that maybe popular with 0% essence. And just add hype asian fussy tasteless.. and also fan service is number 1, also comedy number 1 but not funny... just funny for cheap people humor.
There is no point in the MC being a doctor if he only does traditional medicine. Worst of all is how the author mixes all the misconceptions of Asian medicine with his backstory. The MC would've been better off being a pharmacist or just the owner of a traditional shop.
I mean, physiotherapists do use needles to remove tension, and drugs, painkillers, and traditional remedies have always existed, but saying cure-all exist IRL as background infuriates me. I mean, writing about something you don't know about and mixing superstition is the worst.
All in all, the MC meets the swordsman in about chapter 12, so I guess it'll follow the route of the prequel and stay good for a couple of arcs.
