Yellow, also known as Amarillo del Bosque Verde (イエロー・デ・トキワグローブ Yellow de Tokiwa Grove), is a central character in the Pokémon Adventures manga series.
She first appeared in volume three, rescued by Red from a wild, rampaging Dratini. When Red goes missing, Green (referred to as Blue in the Japanese version) sends Yellow on a mission to find him, instructing her to disguise herself as a boy. Most characters remained unaware of her true gender until the end of the GSC saga; Yellow's straw hat conceals her ponytail and houses both the Rainbow Wing and Silver Wing.
Yellow's initial Pokémon was a Rattata that Red helped her catch. Her starter Pokémon is actually Red's Pikachu, which accompanies her during her search for Red. Later, she acquires her own Pikachu named Chuchu, which produces a Pichu Egg with Red's Pikachu at the Johto Pokémon Day Care.
Yellow exhibits a rather naive personality and often behaves like a small child. She detests seeing Pokémon get hurt, whether they belong to her or her opponents, leading her to develop a unique battle style where neither side's Pokémon are harmed unless absolutely necessary.
As described by Professor Oak, Yellow's special skill is Pokémon healing, earning her the title "Healer" (癒やす者). She gained psychic abilities from the Viridian Forest, enabling her to sense the emotions of Pokémon and heal their injuries. Physically, Yellow is notably smaller compared to the other characters.
