A wolfdog named Blue was once a pet to Quent Yaiden's family. After the destruction of her home and the death of most of her family, including Kyrios (Curious), she joins Quent in hunting wolves. Living as a domesticated dog, she remains unaware of her wolf heritage. Her encounter with Cheza awakens the wolf within her, making it impossible for her to continue hunting her own kind. She leaves Quent to join a pack on their journey to Paradise, growing particularly close to Hige. Blue has black fur and striking blue eyes, resembling a mix between a Grey Wolf and possibly a German Shepherd or Siberian Husky.
