Yamper is a four-legged, canine Pokémon. Its body is primarily brown with yellow fluff encircling its neck, resembling a collar, and additional yellow accents around its eyes. It features a tail shaped like a lightning bolt and a heart-shaped marking on its rear. The undersides of its four feet, its belly, and parts of its face are white. Yamper's ears have a light green and yellow interior, and it sports a small yellow nose.

Yamper has a tendency to chase after fast-moving objects, including people, other Pokémon, or even vehicles. This Pokémon possesses an organ at the base of its tail that generates electricity while it runs. However, it cannot store this electricity, leading to visible sparks when it moves. In the Galar region, Yamper is commonly used for herding Pokémon such as Wooloo. Due to its gluttonous nature, Yamper will only help people if offered treats in return. Joltik often cling to its hindquarters, feeding off its static electricity.

Evolution

Yamper evolves into Boltund.
