Totodile is a bipedal, crocodile-like Pokémon with strong jaws. It has red eyes adorned with ridges above them and black markings encircling its eyes, along with several sharp teeth. A yellow, V-shaped mark on its chest extends to its arms, bisected by a thin line. Totodile possesses five fingers and three toes. Along its back runs a row of three red spines, with small, red ridges on either side. Its tail tip also features a single red spine.
By nature, Totodile tends to be playful yet rough, often biting anything it encounters, including its Trainer. Despite its small size, its jaws are powerful enough to crush nearly anything, occasionally leading to severe injuries. Turning one's back on Totodile is unwise, as it may bite unexpectedly. In the wild, Totodile is relatively rare but can be found near water bodies such as rivers, ponds, and lakes. Recently, it has been observed residing in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy. As depicted in Pokémon Sleep, Totodile and its evolutions sleep with one eye open, engaging in unihemispheric sleep—resting only half of their brain at a time. This behavior is thought to serve as a defense mechanism against potential threats.
Evolution
Totodile evolves into Croconaw, which further evolves into Feraligatr.
