Cramorant is a blue, bird-like Pokémon that resembles a cormorant. It features bright green, large, circular eyes with small black pupils and a long, thin yellow beak. Its torso is adorned with a ruff of light gray feathers that extend around its body and stick out at the back, resembling a bib. On its head, it has a cluster of feathers, with the largest tuft pointing backward and surrounded by smaller individual feathers. Its feet are black, webbed, and have three toes each. The wings appear to be permanently spread outward. Its tail feathers are asymmetrical, with a slit on one side.
This Pokémon is known for its gluttonous nature and instinctive tendency to swallow anything whole. It typically hunts along riverbanks, favoring Arrokuda as prey. Occasionally, it attempts to swallow other Pokémon like Pikachu, only to spit them out if it realizes its mistake. Interestingly, Cramorant sometimes sleeps while still holding its prey in its mouth, a behavior whose cause remains a mystery even to itself.
Despite its forgetfulness and lack of intelligence, Cramorant is quite strong, capable of defeating some opponents with a single hit. However, its brain uses minimal energy, making it bad at learning and often forgetful during battles. It may even forget what it's fighting mid-battle. Nevertheless, Cramorant never forgets trainers it trusts but will attack them if they try to steal its food.
Forms
Cramorant has two alternate forms: Gulping Form and Gorging Form. It transforms into Gulping Form when it catches an Arrokuda and reverts once it spits it out. If it accidentally catches a Pikachu, it changes into Gorging Form, reverting again upon spitting it out. Cramorant cannot catch another Pokémon while in either form and must first release its current catch before transforming into the other form.
