Exeggcute is a Pokémon that looks like a cluster of six light pink "eggs," typically arranged with five heads surrounding a sixth. Each "head" has a slightly different facial expression, but all have triangular eyes with tiny black pupils and small mouths. The shells are cracked, and one member often shows its yellow insides or brain. More cracks indicate it's nearing evolution. Despite its egg-like appearance, Exeggcute is more closely related to plant seeds and carries genes from plants and other species.
Exeggcute groups in swarms of six. They communicate via telepathy only they understand. If the number falls below six, the remaining ones try to replace the missing member with another similarly sized Pokémon, as seen in the anime. It requires six to stay balanced; otherwise, it becomes nervous and cowardly. Pidgeotto and Crabrawler are natural predators, which Exeggcute wards off using psychokinesis. This Pokémon inhabits jungles and forests. Alolan Exeggcute tends to be heavier due to fuller shells.
Evolution
Exeggcute evolves into Exeggutor.
In Alola, it evolves into Alolan Exeggutor.
