shigi

Shigi is a commander within the Kutou army, displaying unwavering loyalty to Prince Hakei. Alongside his direct subordinate, Hien, he is determined to eliminate the Genbu Seishi and their Miko, Takiko Okuda. Shigi possesses a calm yet cruel demeanor, exhibiting a psychotically bloodthirsty nature, willing to kill anyone obstructing his path to victory. He is also an exceptional tactician with considerable influence over the troops. Even while torturing or killing, Shigi maintains a constant smile and speaks in a very polite manner. He firmly believes that summoning Genbu must be prevented at all costs.

In Viz's North American release, Shigi's name was altered to Ziyi.
