The first Seishi that Takiko encounters. Captured by a village and condemned to death, Uruki is found chained to a pillar, awaiting execution by the nasutta. Known for killing a thousand people, he gains his freedom thanks to Takiko. Later, Prince Hakei discovers him, prompting Uruki to join the Kutou army to evade Hokkan's populace. Despite initial threats against Takiko, he eventually vows to protect her and deserts the Kutou army.
Rimudo is the crown prince of Hokkan and son of Lord Temudan. A prophecy foretold he would kill his father, leading to an order for his execution. Instead, the Wakaosa family, traditional guardians of the royal lineage, were asked by his mother to safeguard him. Thus, Rimudo was raised within the Baku tribe alongside Soruen and Tauru, who became like his family. He harbors a desire to kill his father and has made several attempts. He shows little interest in his family’s politics and despises their lifestyle and cruelty towards both their kin and country.
At eight years old, Rimudo discovered he was a Seishi when Tauru was killed, and he retaliated by eliminating everyone around him with his wind power. His abilities over wind include attacking and teleportation, making him move like the wind itself during combat. However, whenever his symbol appears on his chest, he transforms into a woman.
When Rimudo loves someone, he commits entirely, fiercely defending them, and deeply mourning if they are lost. He lacks interest in other Seishi, focusing instead on Takiko as the center of his universe despite their rocky start. It was Soruen who urged him to acknowledge his feelings for Takiko and confess his love, which he does in chapter 14. He wishes for their relationship to be one between a man and a woman rather than the formal bond between Seishi and priestess.
