Pachirisu is a small, squirrel-like Pokémon with a predominantly white body and a subtle blue hue. It features a light blue stripe running from its forehead down to the tip of its tail. This Pokémon has a prominent white tooth protruding from its mouth, deep gray eyes, and yellow circles on its cheeks. Its tail is nearly double the size of its body and is adorned with three spikes at the top of its curl, which it can use to release electric charges. Despite having short limbs, Pachirisu possesses remarkable speed, allowing it to quickly exhaust any pursuing Pokémon.
This Pokémon carries a substantial amount of electricity within its body. When charged sufficiently, it may deliver shocks to other Pokémon. Pachirisu shares a lineage with the Pikachu line. While sleeping, it often curls its large, fluffy tail around its body, using it as a pillow. It enjoys chasing and grooming its tail. When shedding fur, Pachirisu shapes the fur into balls that retain static charges similar to its living fur. It hides its favorite foods, mostly berries, in these static puffs and stores them in tree hollows. This behavior protects its food; anyone attempting to take it will receive a shock from the static. Pachirisu may rub its cheek pouches against another Pachirisu to share stored electricity.
It typically inhabits treetops in forests, forest edges, and areas near power plants.
