Feraligatr is a large, bipedal crocodile-like Pokémon with blue scales. It boasts strong jaws filled with sharp fangs. When its mouth is shut, three teeth are visible: two in the lower jaw and one in the upper. Its eyes are red, surrounded by black markings, and it has ridges above them. The lower jaw is yellow. This Pokémon has three red spines on its body, each with three points located on its head, between its shoulders, and near its tail's tip. Large, rectangular scales adorn its arms, knees, tail, and waist. Its back is slightly curved with ridges behind the shoulders and hips. A yellow, V-shaped mark is present on its lower body, extending up to its thighs, with a thin line down the center. Its arms have five clawed fingers each, and its feet have three clawed toes.
Feraligatr uses its powerful jaws to intimidate opponents and shakes its head vigorously when biting down on prey or foes. Due to its weight, it sometimes moves on all fours outside water. However, during hunts or battles, its hind legs provide agility and speed. Feraligatr is rarely found near water edges. As depicted in Pokémon Sleep, Feraligatr and its earlier forms sleep with one eye open, engaging in unihemispheric sleep where only half of the brain rests at a time. While sleeping, it remains alert; any sensed threat will provoke an immediate charge.
Evolution: Feraligatr evolves from Croconaw and represents the final evolution stage of Totodile.
