nidoran♂

Nidoran♂ is a small, quadrupedal mammalian Pokémon. It has a pinkish-purple hue with darker patches. Its large, spiny ears have teal interiors, oversized front teeth, and red eyes. The back of Nidoran♂ is adorned with three rows of large spines that can release potent poisons when threatened. The middle row of spines stands taller than the other two. The length of its pointed forehead horn signifies the strength of its venom. Nidoran♂ is exclusively male.

This Pokémon uses its big ears to constantly listen for the sounds of approaching enemies. These ears have unique muscles allowing them to move in any direction, ensuring no sound escapes its notice. To hear distant noises, it flaps its ears like wings. When provoked, it extends its toxic spikes and charges, using its horn to inject poison. Nidoran♂ is courageous and will risk its life to protect Nidoran♀. It prefers habitats such as savannas and plains.

Evolution

Nidoran♂ evolves into Nidorino, which then evolves into Nidoking.
