Metagross is a colossal, robotic Pokémon featuring a turquoise, disc-shaped body and four legs. Its main body seems to function as both its head and torso, giving it the look of a mechanized spider. It employs its hefty frame to immobilize prey before consuming them with its large mouth. A prominent metallic cross is positioned in the center of its face. On either side of this cross, red eyes peer out from gaps in Metagross's armored exterior. The four legs connect to the main body via ball-and-socket joints. While the upper segments of the legs are slim, they broaden significantly below the knee. Each leg ends with three short claws and a flat, blunt extension above the knee joint. These legs can retract, allowing Metagross to hover in the air.
Metagross originates from the fusion of two Metang. This process grants Metagross four brains interconnected by an intricate neural network. Thanks to these connections and the multiple brains, this Pokémon can perform complex computations and surpasses even supercomputers in intelligence. It possesses psychic abilities and utilizes its intellect to analyze opponents during battles. Metagross uses its formidable strength to pin victims down with its four claws and body, then chews them up with its massive mouth and teeth. It inhabits rough terrains and can also be found in snowy mountains where its magnetic powers strengthen in freezing conditions.
Forms
Metagross has the ability to Mega Evolve into Mega Metagross. In this form, it perpetually floats, transforming its legs into arms. It also develops four additional legs on the back of its head. The central cross turns pale gold and gains two small holes and a spike beneath it, resembling a goatee. Mega Metagross achieves this form by linking a Metagross, a Metang, and two Beldum. Its multiple brains process information simultaneously, enabling precise battle assessments and accurate victories. Mega Metagross leverages its psychic energy for powerful attacks. Its steel-hard claws can crush large rocks effortlessly. Due to Mega Evolution boosting its intelligence, Mega Metagross becomes an unrelenting fighter that will stop at nothing to secure victory. If defeat seems inevitable, it may attempt to embed its claws into its opponent and prepare for an explosion.
Evolution
Metagross evolves from Metang and represents the final evolutionary stage of Beldum.
