Centiskorch is a flat, centipede-like Pokémon. It has a red body with circular orange-yellow heat-generating organs on the underside of each segment. Its dorsal side, along with its legs and mandible, are a darker shade of red. The head features an orange exclamation point mark and two bright yellow eyes with triangular red pupils. Flames emerge from its head and rear, resembling antennae and telson.
By fermenting food within its body, Centiskorch produces flammable gases, which it burns using its heat-generating organs. This results in flames at both ends of its body, reaching temperatures close to 1,500 °F (800 °C). In manga depictions, these flames can be extinguished.
Due to its aggressive nature, Centiskorch attacks anything nearby. In battle, it rears up and uses its long, hot body to strike by slamming its fiery belly into opponents or constricting them. Depending on the outcome of territorial fights, Scolipede may either prey on or be preyed upon by Centiskorch.
Forms
Centiskorch has a Gigantamax form. When Gigantamaxed, its segments and legs increase, totaling one hundred legs, allowing swift movement despite its size. Its underside turns yellow with light-yellow concentric circles inside each section. The flames from its head and telson grow larger and longer, featuring a lighter center akin to an "X". Small diamond shapes dot its topside periodically, retaining the exclamation point on its head. Its eyes now have red and white colors with yellow irises, and three red clouds hover above its telson.
Gigantamax Centiskorch's firepower intensifies, raising its internal temperature beyond 1,800 °F (1,000 °C). Heat waves from it are potent enough to burn foes and disrupt air currents, causing storms. It is the only known Pokémon capable of using the G-Max Move G-Max Centiferno.
Evolution
Centiskorch evolves from Sizzlipede.
