Charmeleon is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon. It boasts dark red scales and a cream-colored underside that extends from its chest down. Its eyes are blue, and it has a long snout with a slightly hooked tip. A single horn-like protrusion emerges from the back of its head. Charmeleon’s arms are relatively long, each equipped with three sharp claws. Its legs are short but sturdy, featuring plantigrade feet with three claws and cream-colored soles. At the end of its powerful, lengthy tail, a flame perpetually burns. When Charmeleon swings its tail, the temperature in the vicinity can rise to intolerable levels.
This Pokémon possesses a fierce temperament and is always on the lookout for new opponents. Strong adversaries particularly excite Charmeleon, causing it to emit bluish-white flames that scorch its surroundings. However, once it wins a battle, it becomes more relaxed. Charmeleon is seldom found in the wild but may be encountered in mountainous regions.
