Kyurem is a gray and blue, bipedal Pokémon with an indeterminate yet seemingly draconic form. Its head and snout are blue, featuring pupil-less yellow eyes. On its head are two light bluish, pointed horns, along with a bioluminescent yellow crest. The ice encasing its jaws keeps them frozen shut. Kyurem's elongated, gray neck is lined with patterns extending to its body, legs, arms, and tail. It possesses two arms, each ending in claws, connected by peculiar blue wings believed for flight and cold air storage. These wings have two bioluminescent ice spikes each. Underneath the ice on its wings, gray tendrils can be seen.
The right side of Kyurem's body appears damaged, with shorter wing and horn on that side. Its head also has a spiked edge near the jaw hinge on the right, missing from the left. Its slender legs end in three sharp, ice-like claws per foot. The tail features three blue conical spikes, possibly serving as a propulsion device or energy container, resembling a damaged turbine. Kyurem generates freezing energy internally, stabilizing its cells by remaining frozen. It supposedly surpasses Reshiram and Zekrom in power, though this is restrained by extreme cold. Kyurem can revert Reshiram and Zekrom back into Dragon Stones using its tendrils.
According to folklore, Kyurem may be hostile towards Pokémon and humans, eating those found outside at night. In manga and anime, Kyurem flies despite its frozen wings and is considered one of the strongest Dragon-type Pokémon globally. It can cover regions in ice. Kyurem enjoys treats made by Snacksworth.
Forms
Kyurem has White and Black forms, combining with Reshiram and Zekrom respectively. Using Absofusion on their Dragon Stones changes it. This fusion is due to Kyurem retaining genes of the other dragons. Thus, Kyurem shares beliefs in truth or ideals when fused.
White Kyurem
White Kyurem blends itself and Reshiram. Its legs are shorter with icy middle toes and additional icy details. Its tail resembles Reshiram's but connects with three gray skin parts. It has four horizontal holes and a slimmer torso. Ice squares with pins cover its shoulders, plugging into these holes. It has thin arms with rings and claws, wings between forearm rings, and a frozen right arm and wing. Its neck becomes upright due to Reshiram’s fur. Partially melted upper jaw ice allows mouth movement. In Overdrive mode, tubes connect its back to tail, making hair and wings fiery, and tail highlights fiery. White Kyurem uses fire and ice, flying with wings and jet engine-like tail, believing in truth to protect a future of truth.
Black Kyurem
Black Kyurem combines with Zekrom. Its legs are shorter with icy middle toes. The tail resembles Zekrom's but connects differently, with vertical holes. It has a bulkier torso. Ice squares cover shoulders, plugging into holes. Muscular Zekrom-like arms lack wings, and the left arm and wing are frozen. Neck posture changes similarly. Partially melted lower jaw ice allows mouth movement. In Overdrive, tubes sprout, turning right arm and head horn blue, lighting up the tail electrically. Black Kyurem uses electricity and ice, flying via anti-gravity fields through generator-like tails, believing in ideals to protect an ideal future.
