Anime
Greta appeared in a single episode of the anime. She's an energetic, tomboyish young girl with a deep passion for Pokémon battles. Additionally, she manages a karate dojo as a side activity. According to Scott, her inspirations are Chuck and Brawly.
Her only appearance was in "Wheel of Frontier." Prior to each battle, a wheel is spun to determine the number of Pokémon to be used. Although the battles are one-on-one, any additional Pokémon intended for use remain outside their Poké Balls until they faint. A recurring joke in the episode highlighted the similarity between Ash and Greta’s personalities—both were fiery and enthusiastic about battling.
During her match against Ash Ketchum, Greta deployed a Hariyama and Medicham. After an intense fight, Ash managed to secure the Guts Symbol.
When Team Rocket interrupted the battle, Greta immediately recognized them. She swiftly used her Medicham to send them flying away with just one attack.
Manga
As portrayed in both the anime and games, Greta is the leader of the Battle Arena. She owns a Heracross, a Shedinja, and an Umbreon. Additionally, she works as an animator within the Battle Frontier.
