Irvine is a distinguished archer in the new Band of the Hawks. He has only ever spoken to Sonia within the pages of the story. His eyes lack both pupils and irises, giving him an eerie appearance. Describing himself as a hunter and loner, he prefers camping in the woods, finding solace in playing his lute by the campfire, which is his only known pleasure.
Irvine's skill with the bow is unmatched. He can release multiple arrows simultaneously with flawless accuracy. The bow channels significant power into its arrows; enemies struck in the neck often lose their heads. In his Apostle form, Irvine's legs transform into a large, horned wolf-like creature with the same demonic eye found on his bow. His body becomes covered in fur, and his face takes on a werewolf-like appearance. In this form, he can pluck hairs from his tail to use as arrows, and his horns serve as a crossbow with strings made from his own horns. When these tail-hair arrows pierce a target, they suddenly grow enormous spikes shaped like roots, completely perforating the victim's body.
Irvine has formed a close bond with Sonia, who rides him as a mount during the final battle against Ganishka. This partnership highlights their deep connection and mutual trust.
