Chespin is a bipedal, mammalian Pokémon. It is mainly light brown with darker arms and three triangular markings around its face. Its oval, brown eyes; triangular, red nose; and rodent-like incisors are notable features. The Pokémon has three-fingered hands and feet with two long claws each. A tough, green shell covers its back, extending from its head to the middle of its tail. The tip of its pointed tail is orange. There is a small, off-center hole in the shell on the back of Chespin's head, and around the face, the shell has four leaf-like spikes. On the back of its head is another spike divided into three parts.
Chespin's shell can shield it from powerful attacks. The quills on its head are typically soft but can stiffen for offensive purposes. Despite its curious nature that often lands it in trouble, Chespin maintains an optimistic outlook and doesn't fret over minor details. By consuming numerous berries, the bark shell covering Chespin's head and body becomes sturdier. Recently, it has been observed residing in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy.
Evolution
Chespin evolves into Quilladin, which further evolves into Chesnaught.
