Infernape is a bipedal, primate-like Pokémon mainly colored reddish-brown. It has white fur on its chest, head, and lower legs. Its body features several gold markings: swirled circles on its knees and shoulders, flame-shaped designs on the backs of its hands, and a stripe around its back forming two swirls on its chest. Atop its head is a perpetual flame that never goes out. Infernape boasts an orange, rounded snout, long, round ears with blue interiors, and a red ridge above its eyes. Its eyes are blue with yellow sclerae. The Pokémon has five blue digits on both its feet and hands, along with a lengthy tail.

This agile creature practices a distinctive martial art involving all its limbs. It envelops itself in flames while delivering fiery punches and kicks, making its fighting style resemble a dance. Infernape is renowned for its unmatched speed and agility. Its flame is said to burn eternally.

Evolution

Infernape evolves from Monferno and represents the final form of Chimchar.
