Emboar is a bulky, bipedal Pokémon with pig-like features. It has a red nose, large bushy black eyebrows, and two tusks protruding from its lower jaw. Flames constantly burn on the front of its neck and shoulders. This fiery beard originates from an internal body flame. Emboar has short legs and thick arms. Its arms have orange upper portions while its legs are red at the top. All limbs feature black lower sections with thin yellow lines separating the upper and lower colors. These lines are straight on the arms but spiked on the legs. The arms also have red lines around the wrists and tufts of fur on the elbows. The hands end in three claws each, while the feet have two claws. A large, dark horizontal stripe on Emboar's chest includes swirled yellow markings. Its small tail ends in a tuft of hair.
Utilizing the wreath of flames around its neck and shoulders, Emboar can ignite its hands. It combines power and speed to master fighting techniques. This strength grows when the flames around its neck intensify. The more perilous the situation, the more excited Emboar becomes, even enjoying itself. Though tough and relentless in battle, it shows deep affection for friends. Emboar can unleash powerful fire blasts using just its nose and cover its body in fire for Heat Crash, its signature move before Generation VIII.
Evolution
Emboar evolves from Pignite and is the final form of Tepig.
