Elekid is a yellow, round-bodied Pokémon with black stripes. Its arms are bulky compared to its body, and it has three claws instead of fingers. Two stripes encircle each arm, and on its head are two plug-like horns with holes on their sides. These horns glow bluish-white when Elekid is fully charged. A black lightning bolt mark adorns its chest, accompanied by two rows of stripes that continue around its lower back. Its legs are black, ending in rounded, toeless feet.
When Elekid hears the sound of an approaching thunderstorm, it becomes restless and enjoys playing in the midst of the storm. It can generate electricity by spinning its arms, though it tires quickly and can only produce a small amount. Since Elekid cannot store this energy, it often invades human homes to siphon electricity from outlets. This Pokémon resides in grasslands.
Evolution
Elekid evolves into Electabuzz, which then evolves into Electivire.
