Electivire is a large, humanoid Pokémon covered in yellow fur adorned with black stripes. It seems to have no visible neck and features red eyes, a black spot on its forehead, and antennae topped with bulbous tips. A pattern on Electivire's back mimics an electric outlet. Its cheek and shoulder fur is spiky and disheveled. The Pokémon has two black tails ending in rounded red tips, resembling exposed electrical wires. Electivire possesses black feet with three clawed toes each and five black fingers on both hands.

Electivire is reputed to produce the highest electrical output among all Electric-type Pokémon. Known for its reckless disregard of enemy attacks, the tips of its tails generate electricity capable of delivering shocks exceeding 20,000 volts upon contact. By grasping its tails, Electivire can electrify its punches. Blue sparks dance between its antennae as its electric charge intensifies. When excited, it thumps its chest, causing thunder and sparks to erupt around it. During battles, Electivire’s voltage can escalate. The amount of electric energy it generates is linked to its pulse. Typically, Electivire sustains itself by feeding off electric currents; however, in the anime, it has been depicted consuming fruit from trees. A single Electivire holds enough power to supply a large city with electricity for an entire year.

Evolution

Electivire evolves from Electabuzz and represents the final form of Elekid.
