Delibird is a red, avian Pokémon with a white, hollow tail. It features white feathers on its face and chest, accompanied by two three-pointed crests above its eyes. Surrounding its circular eyes are black markings, while its beak and feet are light yellow. A single white spot adorns its stomach, and each foot has two digits.
Delibird follows an omnivorous diet and uses its tail to carry bundled-up food. Typically, it provides stored food to its chicks, but there have been instances of Delibird sharing its food with humans stranded in icy mountainous regions. Its signature move, Present, allows it to carry special items in its tail that can either inflict damage or heal its opponent. Delibird is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Present through leveling up. Within a flock, the Delibird with the largest tail assumes the role of leader. This Pokémon tends to inhabit mountainous areas, often nesting on sharp cliffs; one notable region is around Mount Everest. Iron Bundle bears a resemblance to Delibird, believed to be a machine modeled after Delibird, constructed by an ancient civilization.
