Aloe is the Gym Leader of Shippou City's Gym, officially known as the Shippou Gym. She specializes in Normal-type Pokémon. Trainers who defeat her receive the Basic Badge.

In the games: Aloe appears as the Gym Leader of Shippou City's gym in Pokémon Black and White. This gym is the second challenge for the player. Defeating Aloe earns the player the Basic Badge, along with TM67 (Retaliation).

She later reappears in Yaguruma Forest after the player defeats Team Plasma, giving them a Moon Stone. Aloe also shows up at N's Castle where she and the other Unova Gym Leaders confront the Seven Sages. During the summer, she visits Cynthia in Sazanami Town.
