Crocalor is a bipedal, crocodilian Pokémon. Its robust, melon-shaped body is predominantly red, while its face and chest are white, resembling a mask. Its hands and feet are black, each with three digits. Yellow rectangular scales cover its back and tail, and it has a pattern of black and yellow stripes on its chest. Crocalor's face features a long snout, red square cheeks, two red triangular shapes that mimic nostrils, and a hook-like upper jaw. When it opens its mouth, six sharp teeth line its lower jaw.
On top of Crocalor's head sits an orange mass of fire energy shaped like a nest, adorned with yellow squares. This "nest" contains a glowing, egg-shaped yellow fireball, which is generated from Crocalor's fire energy and abundant vitality. Crocalor can manipulate this fireball, launching it for various moves. As depicted in Pokémon Sleep, Crocalor and its evolutionary relatives occasionally sleep with one eye open. The fireball atop Crocalor’s head remains intact even as the Pokémon sways rhythmically during sleep.
Crocalor possesses an internal flame sac connected to its vocal cords via a valve. Consequently, when releasing fire from its mouth, Crocalor emits guttural cries. Its voice is far from melodious; in fact, its vocalizations become more destructive as it exhales more powerful flames.
Evolution
Crocalor evolves from Fuecoco and further evolves into Skeledirge.
