Torchic is a tiny, chick-like Pokémon with short, fluffy, yellow wings. Its body is adorned with vibrant orange feathers. On its head, there's a crest that looks like a flame, colored in shades of orange and yellow. Its legs are slender and light brownish-yellow, complemented by a small beak of the same color. The feet feature three forward-facing toes and one backward-facing toe. Male Torchics have a distinctive black spot on their rear, which is absent in females.
Inside its belly, Torchic harbors a special place where it keeps a fire burning. This internal flame makes Torchic feel warm to the touch when hugged. When threatened, it can launch fireballs at temperatures reaching 1,800°F (1,000°C), leaving its opponents charred. Torchic has an aversion to darkness as it struggles to see in such conditions. It follows its Trainer with wobbly steps. Although rarely found in the wild, Torchic is known to reside in grasslands.
Evolution
Torchic evolves into Combusken, which subsequently evolves into Blaziken.
