At first i have planned to dropping it becaue the beginning was weird for me and I can’t understand but as the story goes i bevome attached with it.

For me i’d wish rin forgive anotsu because somehow i really like anotsu character but well this too is nice because anotsu died with a smile and he can join makie.

I know this is a really old comment. Maybe you aren't even active anymore,

But with you having coffin princess as a 10 and btooooom as a 9 I don't trust your opinion at all

Are you saying I'm lying ?

Idk about you guys, but the manga was near masterpiece. One thing that made me abit suspicious that Manji was not that good swordsman and relied too much on his immortatlity. Literally in every battle he was beaten to death almost. Aside of that, story was great. Strong 9, imo

Enjoyed the entire story all the way up until this chapter.

I felt no closure at all. Didn't like that Rin & Manji held no interactions or goodbyes.

In a weird way I'm disappointed.

Agreed. I thought Manji and Rin relationship was significant enough to show some kind of outcome with them in the end.

90 years passed, although the fact that Manji is still alive made me happy, Rin is dead. That was depressing as fuck.

Besides I don't care when they show or incorporate as characters the children or grandchildren of protagonists in endings or sequels, it always seems to ruin the story. I just want to see or know about the main characters.

Would have been cool if Rin talked with the old lady and acquired the worms too and everyone thought she died but in the end she re encounters with Manji or something after those years (or not, whatever).

The quest was interesting to say the least but felt a bit repetitive as time went on. I'm not also really sure what to think of the 90 year time skip either. Overall, decent story. I didn't care much about the subtle romance though.

Guess Manji x Rin was not quite possible, so i think that's the fit ending. Though i didn't expect Rin to kill Kagehisa. I thought she will forgive him in the end, but Well, Kagehisa accepted his death with a smile to end things otherwise Rin wouldn't have able to kill him even in his sleep.

Didn't expected to see ninety years time-skip. It was nice to see that old hag Rin and her grand daughter. I wonder if Manji even remember Rin's name. Taking Fuyu didn't ring the bell for him.

and the little finger Fuyu was talking about. I'm not fully sure what it meant, but I think it was Anotsu's last words that Manji said he'll never forget.

That was Kagehisa arm. Remember Habaki cut his finger. I think he asked that guy on the ship to pick-up Kagehisa from the river and burry him and probably later he took his arm for memory/promise or just because he needed it and replaced it with that big arm he had. So Fuyu asked about that finger and he remembered kagehisa name because of that.

Even though, I'm late on this reply, alright, but yeah, I was expected Rin to forgive Kagehisa. Rin's forgiveness would've been the final stage of her character development in the manga.

Interesting that Manji seems to be losing his memories. I guess the worms can’t keep every aspect of his body perfect.

This manga reminds me of Rurouni Kenshin, with 100% more violence and gore. There are a lot of likable things about the manga, especially the art and the story. The characters aren’t half bad either. But it did drag a bit, especially in the beginning.

Weird ending with the 90 year timeskip, atleast Anotsu did survive, and that mask guy washed up with the other two.

Unexpectedly great conclusion. I think it was sorta dragged out in some parts and really got annoyed with the whole enemies that should be fighting each other are honourably saving or helping each other stuff that goes on alot throughout the duration of the manga but luckily as I hoped of samura, it was mostly, well sometimes, to drag a thematic point and the final volume cements that point; Grudges/revenge, is it really worth it?. I like the take on revenge in this manga...it tells us it's probably not worth it but yet doesn't try to paint it as black as noted when Manji defends rin's need for revenge back in the early volumes and some other instances in the manga but most importantly it makes sure that it is known that there is a difference between vengeance and retribution. Overall good start, decent middle, great ending. Best part or panel of the last volume is no doubt the one where it's stated that habaki's and anotsu's swords are blade full of regret. That hits hard.

But then again, wouldn't it make the whole bloody journey of Rin and Manji rather pointless? All the people killed on their way plus what it made of Rin's life is why I think she couldn't forgive him.

BTW, who is the kid Giichi talks to? It didn't ring any bell for me.

It was really good, but man is it a huge bummer that Rin and Manji had virtually no closure. She was basically unconscious for the tail end of the whole final battle and then they didn't even speak after that and then it ended. They were the main duo! They were pretty much the closest friends out of anyone else in the story, and they got nothing! I wish they could have at least said goodbye to each other. I understand why they didn't though, what with Manji thematically representing her quest for revenge and her being done with it. It's just sad
