Another manga script. The reading a manga without pictures thing, which seems to be an unfortunate trend in Japanese light novels these days.

Short chapters, no descriptions of any kind. One line battles. The entirety of the novel are dialogues, internal monologues and general exposition, as if the author can't be bothered with anything that will be made by the future artist/designer. Like appearance, emotions, locations, motions, etc.

This is taking the 'light' part of light novel a bit too far. Without the context brought by the pictures in a manga, too much is lost and the scenes feel disjointed and random.

As usual, it's impossible to enjoy these things that can't be called novels, but at most, a small part of one.

The extra point is for an interesting premise and MC. Also Mechas which I'm biased about. Alas, my suggestion is the same: wait for the manga and don't bother with this.
