Usually, or why they got separated at the latest chapters?
1) Usually, his body sleeps inside the MC's space as his consciousness goes to back to his region to rule. Not only that, it's very hard to cover up the MC's existence so whenever she makes a big splash (everyone that did the purge has some artifacts that would alert them about the Shen Musicians), he would go back to suppress any information about her. She did cause a vision that was visible in all three realms... then the Shen Musician's something (i forgot) blared up at the same time... god, those people were too flashy o_o
2) This time, the fact that he descended to Yanwu continent was leaked to a power-hungry moron (his foster brother, not enough details yet). Said moron destroyed the artifact that allows him to stay in Yanwu continent, ML beats him up but the thing that allowed him to stay in Yanwu continent is destroyed.
Why was it leaked? One of the ML's subordinates got over his head and gave the ML's "self-proclaimed fiance" a pass to pry into the ML's secret, thinking that since she's the future mistress, he should treat her as such in advance. And she probably won't hurt the ML, he thinks.
She looks into the artifact (the one that the ML uses to stalk the MC), and sees MC and ML happy and flirting, the ML wearing an apron and cooking. She thinks that if he can't belong to her, she might as well destroy him. Meanwhile, the subordinate has never seen his lord happy and just stands there like an idiot.
Where was Han Ye and Ying Mei (other guard)? They protect the MC but if they kill too many people of the lower realms, they will subject themselves to Heavenly Punishment. It was Han Ye's turn to follow Di Ming Jue back to work this time (the two take shifts, lol)... and Ying Mei did protect the MC but it's by killing a lot of people so the Heavenly Punishment struck down and she had to move for a bit (just a few mountains) away or she'll implicate everyone around.
...also, even though the MC gets help from the ML, she does her fair share of the work

Jian Feng is from the Xiuzhen Continent, right above Yanwu - there are three realms in total. Di Ming Jue is from the realm above that - Xiuxian continent
The people that came to rape Muyan is the Emperor of the highest-order country in their continent, not someone from the higher realm. He wants to marry Muyan so she'll support his country instead of Lou Beiyu's (stupid apprentice).
There are a LOT of people looking for Muyan. Currently, she's mostly conquered Yanwu continent and planning to make her subordinates ascend with her and Xiao Bao... so let's count the people that want to kill her.
1) Xiuzhen Continent - Every powerful sect saw the "vision" that Muyan caused because she was building her spiritual root - a very basic xianxia thingy that determines talent. This vision was visible in all three realms, a "moon root" (haven't decided on what to call it yet). The common ones, as seen in other stories, are the earth, water, fire, lightning, mix of them, mutated etc.
They know it's powerful but they don't know where it is, not even which continent. Jian Feng wants help so he gave Muyan's information to his sect. They want to cook Muyan and Xiao Bao into elixirs/Dan.
2) Xiuxian Continent - it is SO hinted that one of the factions that want to kill the Shen Musician heir is the region ruled by Di Ming Jue. (potential dramaaaa~ I'm a masochist and self-manipulative).
But the ones that want her to die the most in Xiuxian Continent is the faction that controls alchemy and medicine. They basically demonize the Shen Musicians because the latter makes them obsolete. That, and they want to steal the inheritance. These are the people that descended to the Xiuzhen Continent to begin searching for the Shen Musician, and they're beginning to suspect that the heir caused the "vision" as well-
Jian Feng's sect is somehow affiliated with them, it feels like it has the same structure of a mother company visiting a branch.
That's how they met GQX, gave furnace-GQX the drug, then made GQX go back to Yanwu and inflict it on Muyan because it will prove her claim the the one who created the "vision" is in that continent. That drug is attracted to the one with the purest energy it could find, and the evil people have a lot of clues to go on.
It's okay though, the MC-halo keeps the MCs safe
Btw, nobody wants to go to the Yanwu continent because it will corrode their spiritual energy. Even Jian Feng's sect is only there because eating Xiao Bao is too attractive.
Tbh, I want GQX to survive. She seems to have exhausted the damage she could possibly cause, she already gave everything that she knew to the most dangerous people... and I just want her to see the MC's glory muahahahaha

Chapter 670-794: That damn bitch white lotus escaped again with her senior brother when the MC destroying heavenly taoism??? place but the are now wanted criminals and in order to go up to the mainland? her senior brother asked her to be a tri-pod in order for him to go up.
But damn in the recent chapters she had her senior brother master and some his clan members dead and killed her senior brother when he wanted to kill the MC. That damn bitch gave the MC an yin and yang poison which apparently ranked as in the top ten poisons and which is like an aphrodisiac. She wanted her to be raped by an ugly man but the MC revealed to him who she is and he didn't dare to touch her. However an Prince of somewhere came along and want the MC power and so went get her. Thankful the MC escaped with her child and the rabbit (which the MC performed a blood contract for them since the rabbit (rabbit wasn't a normal beast) was going to die and it used most of her power) and they were still in a coma so she put them in the cave so that they wouldn't get hurt. When she is alone the prince found her, the MC would rather have herself killed and then the ML saved her at that moment.

It broke my heart translating Lin Sitong, they're clearly genuinely in love... even little snips like "he'll call me a clown when he sees this wound on my face! wuu..." they just have a great relationship :/
The princess has men literally throwing themselves in front of her when she's about to be murdered. She has invested a lot of effort in building her meatshields so she's still alive and the story is still ongoing.
